The League's season 1 is underway! Three round-robin tournaments with 6 players each have begun and will determine the first hierarchy of Groups (A, B and C) of season 2, as explained above.

Orange, Soccerdudemike, GameWorldLeader, Nighthawk30, Zerbi, Aper and bore: since you have all responded early, I am proposing that you will be group D in season 2. Even though you are a part of season 2, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't get started early, so I am proposing to get you started shortly (perhaps in a day or two). I want to give an opportunity for feedback first.

Also, I wanted to put out my proposal for comment on the structure for season 2. What I have in mind so far, at the end of season 2, is to promote the top 3 from groups B, C and D (to A, B and C respectively) and to relegate the bottom three of groups A, B and C (to B, C and D respectively). Group D, it appears, may have 7 participants. By the time we are ready for season 3, we will hopefully have enough for a group E.

For those of you who continue to express interest, you may have to wait until season 3, but hopefully with the format of smaller round robins, 3 day time limits, and with two games at a time for each player, the wait won't be too long between seasons.

I agree with thesafari, and then the 2 middle just stay.

Agree with the 2 above me, top 2 get promoted, bottom 2 get relegated, middle 2 stay. Should work very well

I am not doing so well either, but then I'm in a group with Heyheuhei and Texas John...
So yeah, I'll probably be in Group C in Season 2.

First season is likely to be pretty lopsided, as you could be grouped with just about anyone. Season 2 will see some much more even competition.

Well, first we should at least start Season 2, otherwise we'll have dozens of seasons being played at the same time...

Just a thought, maybe later on when more people have joined we could have more than one group in a division, which would make promoting easier?

e.g: instead of (A) -> (B) -> (C) -> (D) -> (E), it could be:

(A) -> (B);(C) -> (D);(E)...etc.
