What I was trying to get at is that we know nothing about her, she has no track record, she hasn't really done anything other than soak up media attention. Hell, check out her "Issues" page on her website(https://ocasio-cortez.house.gov/issues/economy), she hasn't even filled it in, the issues are empty. I thought that is enough to disqualify someone from being President. Otherwise that would similar to asking, "Whats wrong with The Joey [being president]?"

As for the socialism bit. I mean yeah, I am not sure how to respond. From a pragmatic view, I don't think the US would elect a self described socialist yet. Bernie was the strongest self proclaimed socialist candidate ever, with a long and clean track record. If he couldn't even win his parties nomination, how would Cortez? Maybe she could in a few election cycles, but certainly not in the current state of the US. Then from an economic point of view there are huge issues with any form of Socialism.

Buttigieg may well be the Dems best chance. He's charismatic and young, which helped Obama win in '08 - and I'm sure many people will be itching to elect a gay president, potentially outnumbering those who will vote against him because of it.
If Trump dies, resigns or is forced to quit, then I think that Pence would have almost no chance. If Trump goes up against hin, I think, if the economy goes on the same trajectory, the odds are 40-60 in Buttigieg's favour, with no other Dem exceeding 50% chance to win.

Almost any black woman will tell you she has been discriminated more in her lifetime on the basis of being a female than she has for being black.

At least in my corner of the country and from my view point men seem to be systematically disadvantaged more often then women (my corner is admittedly an extremely left leaning university.) At my university woman are offered a considerable amount more services, resources, scholarships, protections, can gain entry into the university easier, and garner more administrative attention than men. Allegations of sexism against men are simply ignored, or laughed off by the administration (I have personal experience with this.) Looking outward woman are considered a protected status in the US, giving them much more power in the workplace after they get a job. Woman are given certain rights that men are not (like maternity leave), woman don't need to be registered for the draft, the courts are horribly biased against men, and our elementary schools are designed to teach little girls. The list of systemic cases of quantifiable sexism against men in the US goes on and on.

Now I am not saying there aren't people who are sexist against woman. But the trope of systematic sexism that is being constantly vomited by gender studies departments and third (maybe 4th) wave feminism is kinda wearing thin at this point. It relies on a whole host of assumptions about social power dynamics that predisposes the conclusion of rampant sexism and doesn't align with reality. Are you able to point out cases of systemic sexism against woman?
