it is possible and very easy to paste a quickmeme image in the forum:
pick one method:
1) select the image by dragging with my mouse over it, then there's a tiny little (maybe 3-pixel high) vertical line of the real image that is not selected, you rightclick on this part of the image, and voilla, you get the real url that way
my favourite:
2) just try to drag and drop the meme by dragging the very top edge of the meme to new tab - this way you open the meme, not the 1 pixel dummy
and the easiest but requiring some typing:
3) take the meme site url:
http://m.quickmeme.com/meme/#####/
and change it to
http://i.qkme.me/#####.jpg
for example :
http://m.quickmeme.com/meme/3ruhvk/
into:
http://i.qkme.me/3ruhvk.jpg
bad news is they are quite large when pasted (see arun's great clan rating system thread - those were from quickmeme.com) - or just try to rightclick and get image url on the very top of the meme - you either get real url, or
http://static.quickmeme.com/media/social/qm.gif - which is a one pixel thinggy covering almost whole meme.
