Most of these aren't memes. Theyre image macros, most are advice animals. A meme is a pattern in behaviour and style. Almost noone here follows the patterns because they don't understand them so they use the style because it's trendy. These are just insider references dressed up to look like memes. Ironheart, knowyourmeme is horrible, but at least if you read its entries you would realise how far off most of these macros are. As a rule, if you have to go to knowyourmeme then you have no business using the meme. The point of them is that they reference a shared experience, and you obviously havent shared the experience.
