You can take a strategical template and play it against AI's, make it practice, an call it singleplayer.
That would still count as a game on the profile, while it wouldn't be included in the statistics it would add to the multi-player games played count and obviously would leave behind a game link that can be seen.
Single-player on the other hand is stored on your computer and only the end results are brought on the site, unless I'm mistaken and lets be honest that almost never happens.
