It is also strongly encouraged for the Reigning Belt holder to mix up their team members for each battle. Changing at least 2 out of the 4 is recommended unless of course you only have 4 members in total. Clans that have more than 4 members but don’t change around their teams will be frowned upon by other clans

Encouraged and Recommended are the words used.

Only players with the clan tag in their name can enter. No drafting in players just to play. Players need to be dedicated enough to your clan to show it in their name .

I disagree with this. I do not have either of my clans' tags in my name, yet I've been a member since both of their creations.

Therefore, your clan "leader(s)" can vouch for you, Vapor. What I think Mac is trying to say, is that people cannot recruit other people to join their clan just to do this battle.

If this does work, you can add belts for certain maps, player, etc, just in boxing with light weight, heavy weight, etc.

@Mylor Thricedamned Thats the idea, as bigby says its very little investment but should be a lot of fun. The only real investment is controling the thread once your are the belt holder. However lets see how this one goes and then we can role out more

@Vaporx i know there are people like yourself who are joined to clans without tags in their name and to be honest im not going to be that strict on the matter (perhaps i worded it a bit strong) i just dont want people drafting in temporary clan members just because they are holding the belt and want to keep it. it wont be frowned upon if someone like you joins with one of your clans

interesting idea for a new team ladder type of challenge actually...
teams register, battle out their ranking as normal ladder while the second placed gets to challenge the first placed on a best out of 3 kind of game, whoever loses gets a huge bump down on their rating, much larger then normal so that they end up back down in the middle on the challengers ladder listing. meanwhile keeping score of how many successful title defenses the top team manages to hold.
