I'd like some help with strategic 1v1/ladder , somewhere in the intermediate-ish area (maybe advansed).

I would like to learn more about 1v1 strategic (ladder settings) games if anyone is willing to teach

both of you could set up a game with me if you would like

To clarify this thread is nothing to do with warlighters except that the lack of help they offered to Alex in part inspired me to help newer players have a place to find teachers.

Well Alex refused our offer to join Lighters, warflowvet has offered to help anyone who asks in the clan (and here too I think).

Silly clan stuff. Recruit and train them yourself. If anyone wants help on the East Asia map, I generally have good results on it. And I'm a FBG, which is a pseudo clan. We accept anybody from the website we come from, good or bad. And we try to help the ones who need it. Some of us are pretty good, some aren't. That's the way it goes.

Would any top players be willing to help me with strategic 1v1? I'm a pretty good player right now, probably top 20 once I rejoin the ladder, but I'd like to be top 5-10. So any top 10 guys who would be willing to help would be much appreciated. Or any guys who are in the top 25 or so who would like a good game can play me and we can discuss it at the end if you want.

I'd like some help with Medium Earth Strategic 1v1. I consider myself somewhere between average and advanced.

With respect towards the creator of the initiative, I'd suggest to move the organization of the noobschool using the chat. To get in the room created for the noobschool, where you will be able to find in real time people who are willing to teach/learn, just go in the chat and type /join #noobschool

Bias whilst that is surely a good idea, given the people that this thread aims to serve are those less likely to find the forum, they are even less likely to find this thread now that it is no-longer notable (seemingly helping new players becomes Un-noteworthy after a week?). And even less likely than that to log onto the irc.

So I commend your idea and go with it. I just doubt the people who need the help will ever know about the opportunity these days. :(

If anyone wants to give me some advanced help I would appreciate it. I consider myself decent, but particularly need work on selection strategy.

i could use some help with 1v1 ladder settings as well, i know how to pick great but i lack good gameplay skills.

I need help with 1v1 on any map and with the strategic world map

i think i grasp territory picks but need help with general startegy especially middle game and end game strategies
