I made a short quiz (20 minutes is more than enough to finish it). I will make new tests later and possibly merge a few of them into one big test, but for now I'd like to hear how you guys did ;)
Well got 23%. I'm not surprised, considering that not only do I rarely play on strategic 1v1 and it is my worst map, but I dont play it on 0% luck, so I have no idea how it works.
Very nice idea. I will do the quiz later to see how much I can get :)
I suggest you start teaching using the quiz as a guideline for the curriculum and give students the quiz after you have taught them the material. Just an opinion that I have.
That is the idea I have in mind Awesomeguy, using questions that put people in specific situations I force them to think about specific problems and solutions for them, thus hopefully introducing some ideas.
Only 38%. But as you said Darth Mylor, I do not usually play strategic or with those settings. You have inspired me to work on those settings and come back at a later date and better my score. Very good idea, thank you.
Very good idea!
Got 77% :/ - would be 85% if not a misclick in #7
7 - misclicked :( seriously.. and on such an easy question :(
9 - i got it wrong - interesting idea with the correct answer - i didn't think of a scenario that should be considered to pick the correct answer..
12 - i don't agree with your answer - this time i did think of the scenario i haven't thought of in #9 and with that in mind i checked "wrong" answer - the only reason for picking your choice might be balance between odds and safety depending on the opponent..
ps: questions #12 and #13 are missing information about Kenia.
On 12, why wouldn't you want to give yourself the highest probablilty of taking South Pole on 1st turn, doing that with 2 guarenteed attacks, 1 ~80% attack, instead of 1 guarenteed and the other 2 with a 45% chance of failing and getting the bonus...
Your're talking about the difference in 1-2 armies in extras, compared to 3 armies for the bonus.
SPOILER
Z-Dog - as 6 and 7 cannot be contradictory in any sense, I assume you meant #7 and #8. hint: stop thinking of only one terr in 8. As for SP i guess only problem is no multiple answer answer. #13 - enemie's intel on your odds of having bonus I guess.
I got 69%. I like the ideas of scenario-based questions, but to me, it leaves a margin of error to what you think is "right" vs. what someone else thinks is "right".
I think background information is quite sufficient, however.
The beginning questions were easy, but its hard to click the right choice on an Apple product, and I got question 8 wrong because I pressed the wrong button.
If there are more of these quizzes (specifically selected with Medium Earth) I would like to try then out, since I am still very bad on that map.
