I see what you mean but this is not really how I envisioned the game playing out. Now Silver is playing the game almost on his own and discussing things on skype and in PMs which is very exclusionary.

MoD. In this particular set up (as defined by Dom) that is how it works. Normally there is no private discussion except for the wolves. I believe that with private messaging for all we lose a lot of the actual point of the game. Again, if you are whispering with other people in real life, you are playing the game wrong (not to mention I dont know how it would actually benefit you as others can see you whispering). There is a lot of interesting reading on this subject. Once again I will refer you to mafiascum.net.

I dont agree that it spoils the fun to have a dictator though . In this sandbox type game (within the confines of precisely defined rules) a dictator can only arise through the game itself. It is the game. You can rebel against that if you like.

Yeah I agree.
There's a big loophole in the rules for this game and after discovering it I've been exploiting it to the max to ensure the win for my own team.
I can see how it spoils the fun for almost everyone except for the select few.

It isn't how the game works at all.

For example the game should be played in public. It's now being played at least half in private.

The game should be played by discussion and consensus it's now being played by direction from the angel.

The angel should be able to help the village by protecting villagers on the right trail. The game is now being played with one invincible villager (the angel who [has to] protect himself each turn.

Now we have a puppeteer vs the wolves.

This isn't how I envisaged the game.

Yes yes Silver you play to win, you hate not winning blah blah. But I don't like gamey wins*. They have no luster for me. And I think this game is heading for a gamey win.

EDIT: No offence to you Silver you're playing to win and trying to help everyone towards that. But I think the essence of the game is being lost along the way.

don't you agree that it's incredibly dangerous to discuss a strategy with someone else? he might be a wolf. as soon as the leader trusts the wrong persons, the wolves almost won. the only bad thing is, that the angel can't get killed. the angels identity is public. normally silver would die this night by the wolves. and then the villagers can't trust anyone again

seems you guys cares too much about win, instead of play the game for fun only...
