Lets talk about the Membership Perks:
1. Active Discord server - Its dead, its literally dead. You hardly have any people in it and what in the world do people do on a wz discord server. The only discord servers active in the entirety of warzone are the ones of big clans, or community servers like chill zone or the public chat.

2. Frequent clan events - Another lie, you guys don't have any relegation league, any proper structure for events or a strong enough management to make them happen.

3. Friendly and helpful community - how can a community be friendly if: a) people literally don't talk.
b) the clan leader is hated by half of warzone till now for allegedly scamming them by misleading them into coin games.

4. Strategic training & growth - YOU PLAY SE, do you hear me, SE - Small earth. you suck at other templates. I don't know who else in your clan provides training and if you guys have any guides.videos made.

5. Private coin tournaments - YOU STEAL COINS FROM YOUR OWN MEMBERS FFS, people are more likely to lose coins then gain them if they join excel.

6.Training Tournaments - A normal tournament does not automatically qualify as a training tournament. Likewise a qm game is also a training game.

Ouch. Scathing.

But wait ... is this actually true? 1-4+6, sure, I can see that. But #5? Really?

I was in Excel with one of my alts, and I will tell you what is going on.
Note that this post have no intent to take down any particular parties, I hope it could be used as a critique that can be used to improve the clan.


2. As Rick said, more systematic clan events such as clan ladder or PRL would be appreciated, compared to the current ranking by title, with a title change for every clan war. On the long run, this system will be tiresome.

3. Could be more lively, but understandable remembering how new Excel is.

4. Maybe add a system where training is more emphasized?

5. The coin tournament are much appreciated, even for 8 coins. I will not accuse any Excel members of any scam.

6. Excel do have private training tournaments, but some of the template are questionable.

I hope you could make the clan better!

Not specific to Excel but new clans in general ... is it even likely to have a lively, active clan chat with max 40 members? Yes, it's certainly possible, but unless you happen to have 40 lively, active members, not likely to have a useful clan chat. In clans with 80+ members, it's more likely to have a handful of active members than one with a max of 40.

Yeah if you're looking for a clan to ̶e̶x̶c̶e̶l̶ grow in with the aim of eventually becoming a competitively-viable strategic player, there's a few things to look for:

1. Does this clan have active events where you can play on strategic settings against players who are at least slightly above your skill level?
2. Does this clan have guides or other resources on the forum or elsewhere (or just knowledge of external resources they can point you to) that will help you learn the game mechanics and tactics?
3. Does this clan have mentors or invested players who are available and willing to play with you, advise you, and train you?
4. Does this clan have game analysis going on somewhere? It might be in a forum thread where people post games, in chat, on Discord, anywhere. But a clan that regularly analyzes games or at least discusses winning/losing tactics and strategies in finished games has a good chance of being a healthy strategic environment that helps you learn from concrete results.

I have not been in Excel so I cannot attest to the answers, but these are the four questions I suggest newbies ask themselves before joining a clan like Excel that promises a growth environment. My expectation based on chance encounters with Excel players and asking them about the clan is that Excel meets criterion 1 narrowly (coin tourneys on a mix of strategic and unstrategic templates) but fails 2, 3, and 4.

Best of luck finding a clan to grow in! Be careful as you search for a growth/training clan because almost every clan with strategic ambition will advertise itself that way (to get members) but most do not actually make the cut.
