I am going to try some of those. Each 100 starting ap only speeds up the first eight levels after the Tutorial. With my best run times they only take 5 hours, so not too much time to be saved.
At +1200% AP, an incremental +25% AP is worth an incremental 653AP before you get to Phase 4 and an incremental 2576AP over the course of a full super ascension. This is *much* more than the +100AP gives you.
I do appreciate that you get the first couple advancements faster but it’s almost impossible to justify +100 AP. The breakeven is just astoundingly far into the future even for Ivan0.
@drillerk, can definitely do a SAsc in less than a day, maybe even a couple if dedicated, but you have to play a lot
I prefer to be lazy and let my actives do the work
@TheGreatLeon, The +100 AP is only useful en masse. After ~50 +25% AP buffs, you get to a point where you don't need AP from finishing levels, you have plenty, so it's more a matter of getting more buffs that will help you clear the levels which get you the AP you need to SASc again. This is arti slots & +100 AP, but as you've pointed out, +100 AP on its own is useless, you need thousands to have any efficacy. Imho, you need at least ~1500 starting AP so you can at least have some level of additional mercs, JS, money cache, alloy sell values, merc discount & AQ, then bring on any level and I'm good. But I've leveled it up to ~11K (I forget exactly, it only shows at start after SAsc'ing again) when gets me maxed out Money Cache, Merc Discount, Alloy Values, JS, 5% AQ, 100% Add Mercs, and this makes getting started quite easy
But more notably ... you also get to a point where you don't need +25% AP buffs, extra arti slots nor extra digging speed, so either you invest in +100 AP, just stop SAsc'ing or you quit Idle, those are really the only options
@TGL. But do those extra 2.6k save another level that you need to play? If not you're not saving anything. Start AP atleast saves time early on, ones you get alot of it.
