And if I ever unleashed my power, and people realised that whenever they had beat me in the past, it was just me tricking them, they might lose their grip on reality. They would wonder if they ever had an authentic victory in their life. They would scour our common games for proof that they had genuinely beat me. They would cling hopelessly to this imagined proof, trying to stifle the rational part of their mind, which continually raises the question: is everything illusory? Unable to tell, they would rapidly break with reality, unable to function in the world.

Just thank god that this power was bestowed on somebody as kind and responsible as I am.

Also take a look at the people ranked 30-40, a large number of them have notable victories vs. rank 1 players, nearly all have victories vs. top 5 players.
