I tried to create templates that would force you to think completly differently [Ásjágarðr] or put you in a Situation you don't really end up in all other 1v1 template [The Collapsing Isle]
Ultimately both templates have opposite themes.
Where one is all about increasing the Income to points it never gets to in your typical 1v1 game, the other is about putting your opponent to 0 Income.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Template Name:
The Collapsing Isle [-ROI JOLEIL]
Type:
1v1
Special Settings:
Sanction Card [-0.25] [Increases Income for indefinetly]
Example Game:
https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=30844651The Map:
The MaP features both a lot of chockepoints to make defending easier with the massiv income aswell as an open center that allows for more flanking possibilities. Not to mention the FTB chances are quite good making it possible to have very early fights.
The Big Island in the center is surrounded by 3 smaller islands that have a Super Bonus on them. meaning the surrounding islands can feature Boni with 2 pickable spots
Info:
The Idea is pretty simple. As the game progresses the income will Increase more and more. Seeing fights with actual huge battles, massiv stacks and massiv Income is pretty much non-existing in the 1v1 Strat Scene. Due to the Sanctions, big Boni become even more efficient over smaller Boni.
Considering the only 2 test games i had on this where i actually didnt change anything plus it being about big stacks / Income fights i don't expect this template to be well received and at most get an
"its new... but i don't think its good"
[SETTINGS BUG INFO]
The Sanction Card is -0.25 and will also work like that in the actual Game.
HOWEVER if you go into the card Settings, Warzone WILL round it back to -0.3. Meaning if you look into it, you have to always manually change it back to -0.25 befor leaving the Page.

Template Name:
Ásjágarðr [-ROI JOLEIL]
Type:
1v1
Special Settings:
Reverse Income Mod [-DERFELLIOS]- All Boni are Negativ - Reinforcement Card [+3] every Turn - Light Fog
Example Game:
https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=30864363The Map:
This Map is a lot smaller than the previous one. And it has to be. If its to big you run into the problem that you either have to have a big Initial Base income which makes every start identical [just take everything around you] or if the Base Income is to small, you can easily end up in unwinable draws [0v0 Income].
This Map should prevent both of these Things.
Aside from that, there is nothing Special about the Map
Info:
This Template is all about Reducing your opponents Income by taking Bonuses.
Its Light Fog to allow planning. [It's Hard to Plan future turns if you don't know when your opp will lower your income]
You get a Rein each turn which aims to do 2 things.
A- It adds an extra challenge because you have to both fight your opp but also make sure to get card pieces with almost no existing income.
[Luck Risk Factor is present because of that. Tho idk how bad it might be as i only made 2 test games here aswell]
B- It lowers the risk of it ending in a 0v0 Income as you are theoreticly always able to take a neutral territory with the Reinforcement Card.
I do think this has a lot of potential when it comes to becoming a 1v1 Strat Template. Then again tho, it uses a Mod so it being implemented is questionable...
[MOD "BUG" INFO]
The Mod almost always works. An example to showcase what i mean.
Lets Say Alph has 4 Income and you have 5. You take a -3 Bonus.
Alph Income will go for 4 to 1
Ralph [4 - 3 = 1] [Like it should be]
You stay on [5]
Lets Say you now take a -2 Bonus.
You would think it goes like this
Ralph [1 - 2 = 0 (-1)]
You stay on [5]
But this is NOT how it works. 0 and everything below it is considered as 0.
While i can not really explain how it works technically i can showcase what effect it will have
So what actually happens is
Ralph [1 - 1 = 0]
You [5 - 1 = 4]
Basicly everything that would lower the opponents income below 0 will just lower your own Income!
There are probably workarounds to this. The easiest workaround dont seem to work due to how the mod framework is structured. If you got Ideas, please go to Derfellios

Extra Map:
The Cursed Temples of Sanctity [- ROI JOLEIL]
https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=30844537This was the original map for the [Reverse Income Mod] Template, befor i realised the problem a Big Map would create. The Gameplay Idea was to have 2 Temples that are a lot more efficient than the rest [prob not 8 like in this game, but another game wasnt needed considering the first one already showed it not being viable]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll try to finish the Design of the Maps, and the Names of all the territories befor the Stream starts (i hope thats fine)
