I'm happy to help again next season. It's nice to see VIW and 101st keeping up with GG. As much as I would like to get promoted, our 2v2 games not looking great :/

i would liike to point out the only reason we are keeping up with them is because of the boots in their 2v2 tournament

Yeah, boots are a shame. We had two players retire during League A. Not sure we would have won it, but we would have given WM/Apex a run for their money for sure if we didn't have boots (we also didn't have Tenshi in the clan until just after it started).

Instead I take solace in seeing 3 of [WG] in the top 8 on 1v1 ladder and 3 in top 5 on 2v2 ladder.

With 101st's surrender/elimination, GG and VIW are the two clans moving onto Group A next season!

1/2. GG - 61 pts. -> Promoting to Group A
1/2. VIW - 58 pts, max 62 -> Promoting to Group A
3. 101st - 57 pts. -> Staying in Group B
3/4. Warlighter - 53 pts, max 57 -> Staying in Group B
5/6. Master - 33 pts. -> Staying in Group B
6/7. Dragon - 31 pts. -> Unknown (If 6th, stays in Group B; if 7th, Relegates to Group C*)
5/6/7. MC - 30 pts, max 34 pts. -> Unknown (If 5th/6th, stays in Group B, if 7th, Relegates to Group C*)
8. BR - 7 pts. -> Relegates to Group C*

*Assuming enough interest for a Group C. With CPU's split into three, as well as other clans being interested, I believe Group C will be formed.

Thx for the the periodic updates, Tsumiki! Just one question: do you really think any of group B s clans can be relegated to group C? I ask this, because in order to relegate from group B dont you need a result from (the nonexisting) group C in order to replace the relegated Clans by Clans promoted from group C? So, imho, the next seasons lineup of clans for group A and B is already complete.

I agree mosquitero but I do think we shouldn't be including BR in group B anymore since they've clearly been inactive the whole tournament.
As such it would be a shame to let them stay in a seemingly higher ranked league.

BR was kind of inactive, true. But lets keep in mind: originally also a group C was intended. So, BR ended up in group B because there was no group C for them. So, i give em at least credit for having the balls to participate in group B while probably knowing in advance about the strength of the other clans in that group. So, as a matter of fairness, i d propose to leave it up to BR if they again want to participate in group B or C. I believe they are smart enough to make the right decision, cant be fun for them to lose almost all games. Moreover, who else has the authority to decide what clan in a newly formed group C should replace BR clan?

Sadly Seahawks and I are unable to win against Mordred/Nyan... even if VIW wins the final game on the medium earth map we will be 1 point short of GG. So congrats to GG for winning group B despite a whole bunch of boots! Pick your lineup more carefully next season and I think you'll give WM/WG/apex/AHoL a run for their money. :)

Meanwhile VIW is gonna have a fun time playing against some really tough players :D

Mosquierto, I assume I have that authority. If not by myself, I can talk to all of the A League representatives.

7 clans should be in Group B. Since there were 8 this season, BR and MC/Dragon will be reglated to Group C(there should definitely be one this season). That leaves 6 clans in Group B. The last spot goes to the clan with the best chance of winning Group B in my opinon. This means that if [20] wants to compete, they definitley deserve the last spot in Group B. If they do not want to compete, we go to the next best clan, which in my opinion is XCD.

In my opinion? If JSA wants to keep the "7 clans except at bottom" rule, which makes sense, then I'd prefer just BR being demoted and Dragon staying rather than relegating both and moving a new clan up. If he doesn't want to keep that rule I would recommend moving BR down to Group C anyway because of the groupings. It is pretty clear that BR is at a level much lower than the other 3.

East Asia and Oceania! This has the clearest distinction between ranks, as each clan loses to anyone ranked above them and wins against any clan ranked below them. (Then again there were boots, probably making this an inaccurate representation of the people's skills.)

yeah im for staying in Group B but that is a biased opinion. Has anyone heard anything on the possibility of a Group C forming or is that something that needs to be a new forum thread so we can actually get participating clans into that group and have some balance to it.

Side thought there should be a spot in the clan's page (if the clan has a page) to say what league they are in since I see no way to regulate some sort of clan ranking especially with the inbalance of clan members in some clans and the level of play on average in a clan.

I can also get the ball rolling on the Clan League Group C if someone want to email the details on setting up the formats.

When would the next season start if we were to stay in group B?
