Well of course not everyone is guessing, don't be silly. The witches will not be guessing.
If we knew who the witches were, then we wouldn't have this problem. Since we don't, we can't tell which guesses were from the townies, and which were from the witches.
Yes of course we are statistically more likely to hit a townie whenever we lynch. Are you suggesting we should only lynch someone if a seer tells us they are a witch?
Or if someone acts suspiciously. I'm saying we
shouldn't just guess, as it will statistically hurt our chances without giving us any useful info.
Where did I say I don't have any suspect information to go off of? Stop misrepping me.
You said you didn't like the cases against the people already with votes on them. You didn't present any suspicions, but instead asked if anybody was up for a complete guess against lurkers.
You can always suspect people based on their votes. That is a primary tool for finding witches. You are suggesting we don't vote for anyone unless we are absolutely sure they are a witch. Now THAT is a vote with no information.
Not when their votes are pure guesses, you can't gain any useful information off those kinds of votes. You can gain information off of votes that present a case for their reasoning, but not votes that are 'uh, vote this guy, because we have to lynch somebody'.
You're the one ignoring the things I've said and misrepresenting my position. Must I keep repeating myself, or will you just click back and read what I've said over the last two pages?
Can we find all the witches in time? What if we lose a seer and days have passed with no information? What then?
With the game mechanic that first to vote can't be killed by the witches, and with at least one hero to protect the other seer, we can get a heck of a lot of information over the next few turns. I just don't see any advantage to approaching the situation then with 1 less villager for no return on that loss.
You are essentially proposing we don't play the game.
Not in the slightest, but you are doing everything you can to ignore what I've actually proposed and instead try and make me look bad.
