There is a total of 50 templates. The template is randomly determined out of at least 36 (in case both players vetoed 7 templates and they are all different).

How would you market MTL for players who are on the casual side and afraid to get destroyed by pros every game?

Why is there no SEAD or MEAD on MTL?
Why no templates with bomb cards/ commanders?
Why just one template with a mod?

It offers by far the highest quality games (skill-wise) with a fair rating system. Most players that turned elite in the recent years couldn't have done so without playing in the MTL. It includes almost the entire variety of strategic templates. However, at the moment, less than 100 players participate. That's why I am finding it extremely underappreciated.

MTL can make you the one who destroys. The only way to improve is to play against superior opponents.

It has ELO, so you get matched with players of your skill. After ~10 games since ELO needs to gather data.

How does the MTL rating system work, and why is it superior to WZ rating systems?

If you don't learn those templates, you'll automatically miss out on a major part of Warzone's strategic variety, which is a huge loss for anyone who loves this game in my opinion.

What is the minimum # of games i can play at once?

The MTL rating system is a version of regular elo, with an activity bonus of up to 80. It has been observed to rate players dramatically more accurately than any of the built-in ladders. The superiority of that rating system can be proven mathematically in a number of ways.

You can play between 2 and 9 games at once. The boot time is 3 days, vacations are honoured.

Prove or disprove that MTL uses the best-unbiased estimator for players' skills.
