Does anyone have any ideas why Texx has not accepted the game for a week already?
(Is he afraid to lose more games? Probably can't blame him too much, as he is already behind in total wins.)

Maybe he will quit the game totally unrelated to focus on the game of chess ;). That would then be "Texx pulling an Orcus".

I get that no one believes I quit warzone because of burnout and I was having fun playing chess and they think that Nauz scared me away or something, but the truth is I was burned out on warzone and enjoying exploring the game of chess (raised my chess.com rating 400 points from 1600-2000). Then I got burned out on chess and came back here. It would not surprise me if sometime in the future the cycle repeated.

As for Texx he has a lot of games on his dashboard and asked if he could clear some of them before accepting this one. I told him that was fine I just wanted to have this settled before CL sign ups in case I have to play a CW season for Harmony.

The reason is certainly reasoned and arouses compassion. But nevertheless you disappeared. Likely the Nauz BestOf series was just another drop or the final drop to cause the burning out.

New game 8 link, Texx and I agreed to change the boot settings to 2 + 3.

And Texx evens it up 4-4. Which means our best of 11, is now a best of 3. Game 9 will be played on eithe cyclic comm bomb or SE1W. If necessary game 11 will be 2v2 Final Earth.

Can we just agree that you are equal and move on to the long-awaited BO11 between Forsaken and Rufus?

I got somewhat lucky in that game. :P

And why wait for Forsaken vs Rufus? Start it up, probably won't even have the schedule worked out by the time T&O finish their last game
