@FiveSmith It wasn't just random quarrels it was about whether the actions where legitimate or not. It took a while to sort out.

Like I said, the main thing is booting after a MINUTE. There is no evidence to show I was stalling. In diplos, its normal to wait a couple more days to try not ruin the diplo.

How is being over 5 days active in chat but not committing orders not count as stalling?

I hope this post finds you well. I have not got the mental energy to check your game at this point of time but I would like to ask you this: If the troubles caused by this PE were so tremendous that you found yourself at a standstill, then how come everyone but you had still committed their orders?

I find it reasonable to assume that you must have been the last person to not commit your orders, given the immense retardation, or rather, complete absence, of this action on your part. Should this indeed be the case, it would also be appropriate to assume that no other participant of the game saw it fit to post-pone the continuation of the game any further, which in turn would call into question the severity of this issue. Even-so I have not read the relevant chat logs, leaving me in no position to adequately comment on this case.

Dude, we waited over 7 and a half days for you.
And instead of committing, you decide to shit talk people in chat. I am sorry but everyone has a limit to their patience, all you had to do was commit, and instead you decided to be a nuisance... I had to end it eventually. Even then, you had a full minute to even ask me to reconsider, and I would have...instead you did nothing.

And no, the "PE issue" was not so grand we needed to wait any longer. I gave my ruling, and instead of accepting it you spent several more days arguing, your point wasn't even that something was against the rules, you literally just wanted me to CHANGE the rules in your favor because something didn't work out for you. You even admitted to that. Come on man... Some also needed context to this is that this is the fourth time you cause trouble and unneeded drama in my games. Everyone else in these games is majorly fine, yet you decide to cause something every single game, and this is no different to that.

You got salty over a ruling, refused to commit for several days, and once you got booted you decided to lash out on the forums. There is no need for any of that, just be mature. The forums aren't really here for you to cope and seethe over a random issue in a random game.

I carefully considered all aspects of the game, the chat and the forums and have to say that you are wrong!

My advice to Reichtangle and Auntie; Stop rotting your brain with diplos, it's pretty clear based off that chat that you two have already lost a handful of brain cells, at this rate you guys are both on your way to becoming Putin supporters and flat earthers.

Sorry Auntie, but you come across as an immature kid in your linked convo, whereas Reich seems like the far more level-headed. Your boot seems to have been well deserved given the circumstances; the final boot seems to be somewhat retaliatory, but if you can't even keep conversation civil whilst being the only one who after 7 days hasn't committed, you've got it coming for you, and nobody will cry for you.

So, when you wait for 7 days for a diplo game to move one step, what do you do in the meantime? Are you building some sort of an alternate reality? While doing your boring job, you feel like a leader of an epic country?

I am seriously wondering where the appeal is. I understand getting the dopamine kick after winning a game after work. But do you guys manage to get this to the next level of always having a slight dopamine kick when thinking about that there is a turn ongoing for 7 days where you expect something epic to happen?

Having fun with some roleplay? --> There is no roleplay in diplo.

Is it about the social aspect? Scheming and devicing plans together? That has to be it? But then the most meaningful chats I had on this site were actually in 1v1 games. I remember only 1 instance where I played a diplo and I believe it was an FFA in which people then later decided to add diplo rules. It was completely awful. I got bullied. I don't remember the details but it might have been because I was seen as too much of a threat. So I should have played worse to have a chance of winning it?

Can someone link a past diplo game which you guys actually found enjoying? I'd like to read the chat and understand the appeal, I just don't get it.

@reich this is not a seethe post this is a post to showcase some of your bad actings. Just so people know. For some reason, many here don't seem to understand but it seems i've attracted the wrong crowd.

@Norman It's the thrill! Scheming, betraying, roleplaying your own alt history or fictional nation, alliances ..

It's like a simple version of HOI4. Just numbers and people.

The unfortunate side is its hard to find a good game because of this.

Maybe adding autoboot is a good idea for such games, otherwise some players may be pushing the timer, which is annoying for others.
