Note there are no longer any 100% muslim countries, unless the population has been killed or forcibly converted as has been happening in Sudan etc

If they brought you up Muslim, and then you apostated, you would be subjected to capital punishment in a under a Muslim government. It is a serious crime.

I heard only one country is in majority following this islamic movement, Oman. And guess what it is the most stable country of the Arabian peninsula. Sad this movement has less followers than other islamic movements.

Also some Sufi orders enlightened Islam, that's bad Saudi Arabia is currently following one of the worst retrograde islamic sect: Wahhabism. They even profanated many muslim saints tombs, sacred and historical arabian mosquees and disfigured the holy city of Mekka with disgusting skyscrappers... Wahhabists are violent, intolerant, retrograde and not even respecting Islam.

Er, no, that's Saudi Arabia or the Emirates you're thinking of. Saudi Arabia is extremely stable, being chums (at least for time being) with America.

As for Oman, unlike its resource-rich neighbors, Oman has modest oil reserves, and despite that it is a very stable and advanced nation, I believe they are clearly less corrupted by Americans, in 2010 the UNDP ranked Oman as the most improved nation in the world in terms of development during the preceding 40 years. Oman is categorized as a high-income economy and ranks as the 59th most peaceful country in the world according to the Global Peace Index.

Hello, have you met Colonel Harthacanute? Or the few other Saudi on Warlight? They're very patriotic. Saudi Arabia isn't stable just because of America, but it definitely secures it quite a bit, though. 59th is nothing to brag about. Apparently, Oman is more peaceful than Belarus, whose only major attack since World War 2 is the 2011 bombings which killed 15.

Fastest growing economies in the world: South Sudan, Liberia, Sierra Leone. It's easier to improve when you have more improvement room.

Juq, you are off-topic here, we were discussing about ibadism and islam. And if Oman successfully modernized its economy, it's certainly because of Ibadism's opened and modern views.
Just clarifying Oman's current situation, this country despite being close to Yemen (no need to say it is one of the most unstable nation) or even Somalia/Iran/etc, has the same GDP per capita of the Czech Republic or Portugal. This without big natural reserves. Saudi Arabia is rich because of OIl nothing else, Oman is rich because its people worked for it. I hope you get it now.

America won't abandon it's grand bastion in the Middle East, even if it does run out of oil. It's a strategic place to have influence, bordering other very high potential theodes to have influence over. Also, Oman is not really close to Somalia nor Iran. Oman is a smaller country and has "modest" oil reserves, as you said. This balances out to be a decent and stable country, but it's nowhere near as luxurious as the Emirates. UAE had no protests during the Arab Spring.

Undermining the entire maritime commerce of this area (my sources: I have classes in Asian geopolitics) Oman is also very close to Iran (Ormuz strait), and shias or sunnis both hate ibadis, really I admire Oman for their success whereas having so much handicaps.

They're both across the water. Mexicans, Colombians, Cubans transport drugs to America, but America is not undermined by this.
