Anyway, it is a false statement. Islam has less followers than Christianity. The video supplied shows how Islam has more followers than Roman Catholicism. Roman Catholicism is not a religion, it is a branch of Christianity. Islam however, is growing faster than Christianity, and unless something drastic happens, it will eventually be the largest religion.

well you are right, this video is also irrelevant, they consider catholic appart, whereas we can compare catholics and ortodoxs for christians as shias or sunnis for muslims, hence if we count all the christians (catholics, orthodoxs, protestants, any christian sect...) then christians would be close to 3 billion followers (counting practicing or not) whereas muslims would be half less.

I am Salafi, and most of the "Sunnis" in the West are either Sufis or what we call Ikhwanis... most of whom are, in turn, Ashari Sufis themselves. So, most of the "Sunnis" are actually Sufis, and not Sunnis.

They are called the "Salaf" which in English translates as "pious predecessors". There is a direct line of "Salaf" from the closest companions of the Prophet all the way, unbroken, until our time.
All the Muslims are eventually going to heaven, but only those who followed the way of the Prophet unadulterated to their greatest ability are going to be unpunished.
