1.They still haven't booted the player who posted anime pornography, or the alt of which. 2. They are using the Japanese wartime flag, sinonomous with Japanese wartime atrocities in World War 2 (see Unit 731, Peking katana competition, there's loads) 3. Too much criticism will get you expelled, for "useless denigration comments".
And these are reasons that should appeal to everybody, there's more, but not appealing to everybody:
4. Too Japanese based 5. Claim to be basing off of old Japan, pre-Meiji, roughly, but ask any of them what a vakizashi is. Do it. They'll have to look it up. 6. Loose with management (see hijack), since has been fixed, but it's only a time matter until 7. A little less than 10% members are proclaimed inactive
My main players I have angst with in CORP are Angry Panda and Kazuki, most everyone else is fine, but has no power. I have submitted these complaints to the management, obviously, some can not be easily (and wanted to be) fixed, like reason 4, but the top 3 reasons are absolutely unacceptable. Most suggestions have been flat out rejected, only reason 2 has shown some hope (but I'm sceptic). I didn't make something like this for Wolves and Falcons, other former clans I was in, because they're actually pretty decent, dare I say it. They used to suck, now they're just clans that are mediocre. But CORP has earned this; reasons 1 and 2 cross the line from my bad clan choice to my really bad clan choice (and me recommending to not join CORP).

See how pathetic you are, wasting your time about such useless thread. Juq I really thought you were better than that, but it seems you reason like a 6 yo kid. You can't stop criticizing people, and you show no respect for anyone excepted you, sure you are narcissistic, but learn the basics of respect. We worked hard to implement new things and we have a great community of active players (something you can't know obviously as you are no longer allowed to join our chats since you continuously spammed with your comments of hatred) How can you criticize us without being in our clan, we once considered you as a friend that's why you were in our chat.
I am really disappointed by you.

TL;DR: Hate us cuz they ain't us.
1. Shini LL of the H isn't shinigami's alt. It's his brother. I thought he was his alt, too, until he didn't seem to know what CSL was (which wouldn't make sense, as shinigami has played a few CSL games and is part of the CSL 1v1 ladder). As for Lolicon love <3, yeah he had a breakdown and clearly has some weird fetishes. And even though several of our members absolutely hate him by now, we decided to talk it out first because he's a member and he's important to us. And talking worked. Yeah, we're the kind of clan that actually even offers interventions to its members.
2. Actually, the Clan Icon is the Japanese naval jack, still in use today by the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force (and also very similar to the insignias of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces and the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force). It's not the Japanese war flag. Its only association, historically, has been with the naval operations of Japan. If you want to talk about atrocities, virtually every flag of a geopolitically significant country is tainted- the American by Operation Condor and the War in Iraq, the Indian by Operation Polo and Operation Blue Star, the Russian by the illegal invasion of Ukraine and the harassment of Georgia and historically many other countries, the German by WWI/WWII/East Germany's horribly oppressive governance, the Korean by USAMGIK and various dictatorships, the Salvadorian by the Football War, the Mexican by Santa Anna and imperialism, the French by Napoleon and massive settler-colonialism, the Belgian by brutal conditions in Leopold's Congo, the Turkish by the Armenian Genocide, the Cambodian by the Khmer Rouge, the Somalian by piracy, civil war, and ethnic cleansing, the Rwandan by ethnic cleansing, etc.
3. On the contrary, you've been a dick in our chats for over a month now and I'm still not sure that you've been kicked out. You've said so many questionable (racist? sexist? xenophobic? trans/homo/biphobic? generally fucked-up?) things and no one's even been able to tell whether you're serious or joking anymore when you say something really messed-up. So it's quite odd that you'd cite this as a complaint, because on the contrary we're clearly too trusting (both within and outside the clan) and, despite the occasional drama, this has been rather net-beneficial for us (for example, leading to inter-clan collaborations in preparation for Clan League, members getting better at playing the game, etc.).
4. Feudal Japan is a great theme for a clan. For example, there's the whole neat Ronin/Samurai thing- Ronin are "wandering samurai," while Samurai have made an oath. It fits perfectly with our Dojo system. Feudal society is also a good way to approach CORP's distributed management style.
5. What's so special about wakizashi? I admit that I only knew this because my friend's uncle makes these (he's got a weird obsession with swords, which is odd for gun-heavy Texas, but I'm not going to complain about being able to mess with his (least-favorite) samurai swords).
6. As I said, CORP has been very friendly and open toward its members. At one point, management trusted a lot of people with Manager Rights because we wanted to grow the clan. Beyond that dramatic hiccup, it's worked well- we went from like 30 members when I joined to over 70 now. It's not a "matter of time"- there are very few people with Manager Rights now, and all of them are people Kazuki can trust. Beyond that, there's also the threat of me having a few tools that would make Warlight utterly unplayable for someone who decides to mess with us (tools that I hopefully won't have to use).
7. Yes, we're a big clan. Some of our members go inactive from time to time- Death had to deal with real life for a while, for example, but he's back now- at least partially. Over 90%, however, are still active. Those 65 players have been very helpful, too- right now, we've got so many games going on through the clan- in the past 24 hours alone, I've personally seen the start of 2 Scorpio Dojo tournaments, 2 invitational tournaments set up by CORP players, 2 CORP Strategic League-operated tournaments, 1 friendly diplomacy game with The Lost Wolves, 1 friendly 5v5 on the Crusades map against the Lost Wolves Clan League team, and over 10 CORP Strategic League games. Our active members get shit done.
Angry Panda and Kazuki don't hold all the power. Kazuki, for example, has only even exercised his rights as Shogun twice to my knowledge in this past week- and both times were to approve new dojos. There are 7 Gunjikomon that advise him and vote on important matters, and literally anyone in the clan can start their own dojo with enough support and the approval of the Gunjikomon Council and the Shogun. I dare say that our members have far more power than members of any other similarly-sized clans- we openly exist to help our members pursue their goals within the game, and our behavior as a clan reflects that commitment to our members.

It's pretty messed up how they're using the Japanese military flag. It's just like using a Nazi flag. They based themselves off hatred and killing. The Japanese killed more civilians of China than Nazis ever killed Jews.
I can't believe someone is basing a clan off them.

I can say with quite a bit of confidence that most of our members get a lot more out of our clan than they would be getting out of any other clan. Like? Unlike most clans on Warlight, ours is far more than an Icon. Evidence?

Apologies for the walls of text but I just wanted to respond clearly and thoroughly to Kapy's bullshit. @Pink: Would you also like to join Scorpio Dojo, currently the only strategic dojo in CORP? You seem like a pretty good strategic player and potentially a CORP Clan League team member if you're interested in that. As for Apollo's questions: Like? What members get out of the clan is listed on our clan page. We try to broadly cater to all members of the clan regardless of their specific interests, so for 1v1 players we've got 3 ongoing tournaments, an internal 1v1 ladder that rotates across strategic templates (mostly taken from WSOW, andy and Dom's league, Clan League, Clan Challenge League- so it's a lot better than just playing Strategic 1v1 all the time). Similarly, team players partake in our 2v2/3v3 ladders and have 3 or 4 ongoing tournaments as well as a few friendly matches against other clans to participate in. Players interested in historical/fictional scenarios have their own dojo. As far as diplo goes, we've got clan games going on all the time- currently the biggest one is a 36 player friendly with The Lost Wolves. Beyond that, every member of the clan is encouraged to pursue their specific interests by forming or joining a dojo. The dojo system is different from other clans' internal organization systems in that each dojo has a different common purpose- right now the two dojos are for strategic games and historical/fictional scenarios but this is the first month of dojos so we'll almost certainly diversify there as more members start taking advantage of the clan. I don't know many other clans that are this active (the other ones I've been in haven't been) outside yours, Apex, Illuminati, and the other dominant strategic clans (only a fraction of WL clans in total, ofc). Evidence? On top of the Icon, we offer, off the top of my head: * 65 active players that are generally willing to test templates, play games, join tournaments, etc.
* Semi-internal (mostly CORP but we're open to non-CORP players) 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 ladders
* Frequent clan games/tournaments
* Active clanwide communication that allows us to organize things like a common blacklist to avoid getting our games ruined
* The opportunity to get together with other people and set up a dojo to pursue your own specific interests If you'd like to suggest improvements to this, I'd certainly appreciate it. Especially since you have strategic know-how, I'd also love to talk to you about improving the strategic templates used in our ladder system (templates can be found/listed here: http://tinyurl.com/csldata).
