See how pathetic you are, wasting your time about such useless thread. Juq I really thought you were better than that, but it seems you reason like a 6 yo kid. You can't stop criticizing people, and you show no respect for anyone excepted you, sure you are narcissistic, but learn the basics of respect. We worked hard to implement new things and we have a great community of active players (something you can't know obviously as you are no longer allowed to join our chats since you continuously spammed with your comments of hatred) How can you criticize us without being in our clan, we once considered you as a friend that's why you were in our chat.
I am really disappointed by you. You see? There you go again, "denigeration". You immediately call me a 6 yo kid for pointing out what puts CORP a cut below your average bad clan. I don't give respect unless you deserve respect. Apollo has my respect for great maps. zxctycxz has my respect for great maps. You don't have my respect anymore because you accuse any criticism as "denigeration", you used to have some, Angry Panda. I do not have "comments of hatred" but I have constructive criticism. Rule 4-6 may be hard to fix, but you don't have excuses for the others. And I did not spam your chats with "hatred" - it's called constructive criticism.

I don't think Angry Panda responded to this airing of dirty laundry in the best possible way, but (given the context of your behavior) I've got to agree with him. Regardless of whichever topic comes up- countries, games, templates, whatever- you always seem to respond with some level of hate and then ignore all responses with just further insults. I don't think your behavior here differs from that pattern.
What's even worse is that you're just completely mischaracterizing CORP deliberately- you even went as far as to ignore the most thorough response you've received.
The biggest issue I have, Juq, is how authoritative you seem to act. You never recognize that you can be wrong or that there are valid judgments aside from yours.
Maybe if you actually spent time doing something other than insulting people all day, you'd actually know how to play 1v1. :P (and I mean, on the most basic level- obviously, we'd both probably lose to Apollo, but it's something else to not get a bonus by the end of Turn 3 entirely).

1. Shini LL of the H isn't shinigami's alt. It's his brother. I thought he was his alt, too, until he didn't seem to know what CSL was (which wouldn't make sense, as shinigami has played a few CSL games and is part of the CSL 1v1 ladder). As for Lolicon love <3, yeah he had a breakdown and clearly has some weird fetishes. And even though several of our members absolutely hate him by now, we decided to talk it out first because he's a member and he's important to us. And talking worked. Yeah, we're the kind of clan that actually even offers interventions to its members.
2. Actually, the Clan Icon is the Japanese naval jack, still in use today by the Japanese Maritime Self-Defence Force (and also very similar to the insignias of the Japanese Self-Defence Forces and the Japanese Ground Self-Defence Force). It's not the Japanese war flag. Its only association, historically, has been with the naval operations of Japan. If you want to talk about atrocities, virtually every flag of a geopolitically significant country is tainted- the American by Operation Condor and the War in Iraq, the Indian by Operation Polo and Operation Blue Star, the Russian by the illegal invasion of Ukraine and the harassment of Georgia and historically many other countries, the German by WWI/WWII/East Germany's horribly oppressive governance, the Korean by USAMGIK and various dictatorships, the Salvadorian by the Football War, the Mexican by Santa Anna and imperialism, the French by Napoleon and massive settler-colonialism, the Belgian by brutal conditions in Leopold's Congo, the Turkish by the Armenian Genocide, the Cambodian by the Khmer Rouge, the Somalian by piracy, civil war, and ethnic cleansing, the Rwandan by ethnic cleansing, etc.
3. On the contrary, you've been a dick in our chats for over a month now and I'm still not sure that you've been kicked out. You've said so many questionable (racist? sexist? xenophobic? trans/homo/biphobic? generally fucked-up?) things and no one's even been able to tell whether you're serious or joking anymore when you say something really messed-up. So it's quite odd that you'd cite this as a complaint, because on the contrary we're clearly too trusting (both within and outside the clan) and, despite the occasional drama, this has been rather net-beneficial for us (for example, leading to inter-clan collaborations in preparation for Clan League, members getting better at playing the game, etc.).
4. Feudal Japan is a great theme for a clan. For example, there's the whole neat Ronin/Samurai thing- Ronin are "wandering samurai," while Samurai have made an oath. It fits perfectly with our Dojo system. Feudal society is also a good way to approach CORP's distributed management style.
5. What's so special about wakizashi? I admit that I only knew this because my friend's uncle makes these (he's got a weird obsession with swords, which is odd for gun-heavy Texas, but I'm not going to complain about being able to mess with his (least-favorite) samurai swords).
6. As I said, CORP has been very friendly and open toward its members. At one point, management trusted a lot of people with Manager Rights because we wanted to grow the clan. Beyond that dramatic hiccup, it's worked well- we went from like 30 members when I joined to over 70 now. It's not a "matter of time"- there are very few people with Manager Rights now, and all of them are people Kazuki can trust. Beyond that, there's also the threat of me having a few tools that would make Warlight utterly unplayable for someone who decides to mess with us (tools that I hopefully won't have to use).
7. Yes, we're a big clan. Some of our members go inactive from time to time- Death had to deal with real life for a while, for example, but he's back now- at least partially. Over 90%, however, are still active. Those 65 players have been very helpful, too- right now, we've got so many games going on through the clan- in the past 24 hours alone, I've personally seen the start of 2 Scorpio Dojo tournaments, 2 invitational tournaments set up by CORP players, 2 CORP Strategic League-operated tournaments, 1 friendly diplomacy game with The Lost Wolves, 1 friendly 5v5 on the Crusades map against the Lost Wolves Clan League team, and over 10 CORP Strategic League games. Our active members get shit done.
Angry Panda and Kazuki don't hold all the power. Kazuki, for example, has only even exercised his rights as Shogun twice to my knowledge in this past week- and both times were to approve new dojos. There are 7 Gunjikomon that advise him and vote on important matters, and literally anyone in the clan can start their own dojo with enough support and the approval of the Gunjikomon Council and the Shogun. I dare say that our members have far more power than members of any other similarly-sized clans- we openly exist to help our members pursue their goals within the game, and our behavior as a clan reflects that commitment to our members. 1: Sounds like you just kept someone who still has a scantily clothed anime woman on his profile. 2:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imperial_Japanese_Army As for other tainted flags, the Nazi flag is just as (and more) offensive, and the rest of these can't compare - just standard things that countries did. Rwanda has changed it's flag, and the Khmer Kraham uses a different flag from Cambodia. The Turkish Empire also uses a different flag than the Turkish Republic. 3: I have never been racist, nor sexist. I don't think I was xenophobic and sexual-mental illnesses are still a controversy left unsolved. Being trusting has nothing to do with this. You are too trusting however - letting the porn distributor back. How could you? (For "intervention" - what can you do behind the screen, really"?) You haven't even really tried to argue my third point, really, other than saying that I say "questionable" things. (Which I don't deny completely, but not every word I say is "questionable". 4:I don't think it's neat, it's a pretty standard clan ranking system. And you think you're special with your Dojos - but Wolves has Political Parties, Falcon has Political Parties and there's more where that came from (T4R, so on). This is subjective, but yeoman, page, squire, baron is a much better way of doing things. 5: Because probably everyone in the clan has heard of the latest Hentai Porn 4000 XXX SUPA, but not actually true Japanese culture and items, like the vakizashi. I don't know much true Japanese culture and items, but I don't watch the latest Hentai Porn. 6: I actually offered to grow the clan from 4 members before After_Dark fell apart, but was not recommended to by Kazuki (the original member). Few? You mean there's more than one? And yes, everyone in the fourth wave was trusted by Kazuki, and yet there you have it. Also, that threat shows how barbaric you are, and wouldn't even work well, alts. 7: Don't deny it. Just under 10% of your clan is inactive, don't try to mask it with how active all the other members are - you've convinced me that the CORP active members are as active as Lost Wolves. I don't know who holds all the power, these are the two that I'm pretty certain about, though. Also, "we openly exist to help our members pursue their goals within the game, and our behaviour as a clan reflects that commitment to our members." Stop. You don't even know it when you're spewing propoganda.

The Rising Sun flag has been used in Japan since pre-Meiji times. It was used by feudal lords during the Tokugawa Shogunate, then adopted as a symbol by the Meiji emperor. Versions of the Rising Sun flag have been used by the Japanese military for virtually all of its history. It's not only used by Japanese- several American military units use some variation of the flag as part of their insignia. This is not the rising Sun flag, this is the flag used by the Imperial Japanese Army.

Our Clan Icon is not a political statement. And our Clan Icon is not your business. Please stop wasting your time bothering with our clan management or making assumptions about our clan without ever having been associated with it. Thanks. It is a political statement. It is our business. Georgy may not have been in your clan, but he's right. I can say with quite a bit of confidence that most of our members get a lot more out of our clan than they would be getting out of any other clan.
Unlike most clans on Warlight, ours is far more than an Icon. Enough propoganda.

What members get out of the clan is listed on our clan page. We try to broadly cater to all members of the clan regardless of their specific interests, so for 1v1 players we've got 3 ongoing tournaments, an internal 1v1 ladder that rotates across strategic templates (mostly taken from WSOW, andy and Dom's league, Clan League, Clan Challenge League- so it's a lot better than just playing Strategic 1v1 all the time). Similarly, team players partake in our 2v2/3v3 ladders and have 3 or 4 ongoing tournaments as well as a few friendly matches against other clans to participate in. Players interested in historical/fictional scenarios have their own dojo. As far as diplo goes, we've got clan games going on all the time- currently the biggest one is a 36 player friendly with The Lost Wolves.
Beyond that, every member of the clan is encouraged to pursue their specific interests by forming or joining a dojo. The dojo system is different from other clans' internal organization systems in that each dojo has a different common purpose- right now the two dojos are for strategic games and historical/fictional scenarios but this is the first month of dojos so we'll almost certainly diversify there as more members start taking advantage of the clan.
I don't know many other clans that are this active (the other ones I've been in haven't been) outside yours, Apex, Illuminati, and the other dominant strategic clans (only a fraction of WL clans in total, ofc). Join Lost Wolves for the same thing, Falcons for even better organised same thing. On top of the Icon, we offer, off the top of my head:
* 65 active players that are generally willing to test templates, play games, join tournaments, etc.
* Semi-internal (mostly CORP but we're open to non-CORP players) 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 ladders
* Frequent clan games/tournaments
* Active clanwide communication that allows us to organize things like a common blacklist to avoid getting our games ruined
* The opportunity to get together with other people and set up a dojo to pursue your own specific interests 61* active players. This is just something that the Wolves and Falcons have, too.

Update for you: Yes, I've answered the most thorough response I've received (thank you for actually using actual arguments instead of Angry Panda's typical "denigeration" claims). I do recognise that I am wrong sometimes, but when I'm wrong, I usually say "I think..." or "I'm not sure, but I think...". Whenever I don't put those behind what I say, I know 95% right (though I still sometimes can be wrong). It's not that I refuse to accept other folk as right - it's that I'm rarely wrong. I do know how to play 1ag1, but not with your daemonic templates. I even say before we start playing on your template: "I'm pretty sure I'm going to lose on this daemonic template".

@ Kartoffelr:
Haha we aren't a Japanese roleplay clan or an anime fan club. We just use Japanese feudal titles for internal management and Japanese-related images for our clan images. Our preferred templates aren't even on Japan maps. So being Japanese-themed isn't an advertisement of any sort.
@ Kapy:
Dude. Half of your stuff doesn't even contradict any of what I said. You just reasserted your previous claims. In at least one instance, your entire response was the word "False." Or "No it is." or "Uh huh it is." Or "Propaganda!"
As for why the dojo system is different: I was part of the political party system in TLW, as a member of Utvikling for around 2-3 months. As far as I could tell, each party was just a group of people doing essentially the same thing- playing standard diplo games. There's far more differentiation in the dojo system- each dojo literally has a different aim in mind, it's more akin to a specialization than a simple clan subgroup. Dojos aren't even political units in the sense that a daimyo has a voice in some sort of council- the Gunjikomon Council is entirely detached from the dojo system, and vice versa.
Within 3 days of existence, Scorpio Dojo has done more than Utvikling did in three months, so I think we're onto something here. It also allows for a more hands-off management style, which is pretty solid.
Since your main issue seems to be the flag: the Rising Sun Flag was the official flag of the Imperial Japanese Army. It was also adapted into dozens of other flags that represent Japan. To this day, you can find it on Japanese newspapers, drinks, billboards, and other standard items. It has no inherent association with the military.
I was actually looking at Japanese Prefecture flags as replacements but I don't think they cut it. There's a special attribute of our clan logo that you'll see in action soon (w/in a month) which is a very specific reason for which I support it.
Finally, the "demonic templates" we played on were Strategic 1v1 (the one from auto-games) and Guiroma 1v1. The first is the most commonly used 1v1 template, and the second is... Guiroma, also one of the most widely accepted and best-designed strategic templates out there.
But please keep talking. You're only making us look better. :)
