The Battle of Galicia has begun, as Portuguese troops meet up with Galician Mercenaries and Basque soldiers in Galicia. The Portuguese armies have one very good general, and one average one. Galician and Basque strategies are unknown, but this is a large amount of Basque troops to be meeting so early.

The Battle of Galicia has been won by the Portuguese. Using their superior numbers, and similar military equipment, the Portuguese forces overwhelmed the Basque and Galician forces. Over 1,000 Galician forces were killed, before the rest surrendered, and joined the Portuguese ranks. Over 15,000 of first Basque division surrendered, and began retreating to their borders. General Eduardo Santana of the First Portuguese Army fears that as they go along the North Spanish coast, there will be more Basque divisions to come. 35,000 of the 60,000 Portuguese soldiers survived, with an extra 3,000 Galician mercenaries.
Granada is currently blockaded by Catalonian ships, with Catalonian men dismounting and going onto the coast. Small amounts of reinforcements are sent to Granada, to fend them off.
The War of the Berber Coast has reached a stalemate. Portugal retake control of Rabat, but hold off their borders as it is. Remigio Melo, general of the Fourth Portuguese Army strategised that controlling the Berber coast is more important than getting to Basque itself, because Basque receive a large amount of tribute from the Berber states.
A civilisation along the North African coast has been found. It goes by the name of "Oran". It is a lone city state, made of surviving Algerians. They seem to be about the same technology as the Berber States, but do not have any close civilisations. Once the war with Basque is over, soldiers will be sent to colonise this state. Further expeditions are made to go along the North African Coast.
We have lost contact with the ship sent to the USA.

The move known as Dreb's Gambit pays off and Arabian general al-Qib's 40,000 infantry are wiped out to a mere 3,000 after only one day of the flanking maneuver being made.
On the coast, General Leon is reduced to 2,500 heavily demoralized soldiers, yet General Gunder had supply line issues and his tanks would not mobilize. As such, his 10,000 infantry was reduced to 800 by the Superior trained huwhili soldiers.
Knowing the war is futile and that so many lives are at stake, the Allied Army surrenders unconditionally. Mecca is absorbed into the Republic of Huwhili as well as whatever villages the UAE had left. General Leon has another victory to add to his belt now.
It is now that the process is repeated. The Iranian soldiers are disbanded and 40,000 Meccans are recruited. The population of Huwhili swells to 250,000, primarily because mecca had such a large following of survivors.
The European expedition meets the Dutch, north Germany and the alpine confederation. The Mediterranean expedition meets oran and Grenada as well as catalonia. The Pakistani scouts have reported several important chokepoints and secret paths.

United Japan is entering into a new era of prosperity. Despite all the unfortunate circumstances which has transpired for humanity, Tokyo and Chiba have come together and have made great strides in restoring the local areas. Yokohama, which had been flooded with deadly amounts of radiation, is being carefully cleaned and scrubbed. Although the cleaning process for the entire city of Yokohama will take a great deal of time, it is expected to stop the spread of radiation to Tokyo. Tokyo, all the mean while, has begun to obtain enough food to sustain itself. Community gardens are being planted everywhere in the city so a variety in diet can be achieved. Chiba fishes enough catch to provide protein for both cities, while Tokyo holds enough military power to protect all citizens within our small boarders.
Trading caravans have been arriving in Tokyo and Chiba from Hitachi. The trades say that the city of Sendai, located far north of Tokyo, was entirely unaffected by the nuclear apocalypse. Radiation is prominent in the north however Sendai is far from its clutches. Tokyo plans to form trading routes between itself, Chiban and Sendai in the hopes of furthering the prosperity.
Bands of raiders have been spotted in the mountains west of Tokyo. Citizens of Tokyo have been unharmed however small groups of people have been attacked. Local towns are asking the government of United Japan to act against these raiders and save them from threats of attacks. Fugoko has yet to speak on the matter.
In other news, the Yakima destroyer has reached the Persian Gulf. The crew have come to see that Iran is no longer in existence for they were conquered by another group known as, The Republic of Huwhili. The Yakima, while entering the Persian Gulf have witnessed movements which might suggest military operations in the local area. The Japanese ship will keep its distance as they are on a diplomatic mission and wish to tread without disrupting operations. The Yakima has attempted to radio a local port on the Huwhili coast however there is yet to be a response.
In other, other news, the Hijiro destroyer has encountered a a small town of Koreans in Pusan. The inhabitants are fearful as they have scarcely seen another group in a very long time. They say that most of the peninsula is heavily irradiated and entirely desolate. The people were low on supplies when the Hijiro docked therefore the crew have elected the share what they can.

*Japanese diplomat speaking*
"Greetings Muhammad al-Zav! I am Natigate Uchita, representative of Japan and its leader Fugoko Yumisha. I have been give absolute authority in matters concerning diplomacy. United Japan is willing to sign a pact allowing naval aid, however our current fleet is small so our aid will be, in that light, limited. Before we offer the aid of our ships, Japan would like local property within your nation so that a a form of embassy can be established. If such an agreement can be reached we will provide the aid of one Cruiser and one destroyer. Their home port will need to be located in your lands as well. We understand requesting both an embassy and a home port is a steep but we support our request with the argument that if our ships are damaged then they will be of little use to us both."
