the Confederacy comes upon a strange sight in what used to be central Nebraska, a lake, nearly 15 miles wide and well over 100 long was round where the Missouri River used to be. We do not know what happened to the river.

Huwhili dispatches their entire army toward Lebanon. Generals Dreb, Leon and Yech will be accompanied by the newly promoted and talented General Voz.

The Caspian expedition recently reported back, but the news is grave. We actually received transmission from a looped recording. We now provide that recording.

According to their message, it appears that the world will soon enter a cold snap. We predict they were at roughly the 45th - 50th parallel line. Several of our scientists have reported lower temperatures by roughly 10 degrees Celsius. Huwhili will be acting to preserve its future, and intense cultivation projects are developed to secure as much food as possible until it is too late.

The Mediterranean expedition has reported contact of all Iberian nations. European expedition reports complete sweep across mainland Europe. The 2 will soon meet up and organize a north sea expedition.

Work has also begun on 50 patrol boats, 5 light destroyers and 1 very small aircraft carrier. We procured 8 mid-ww2 Era planes and plan on using them with our Levant intervention.

The Portuguese first and second armies make their way across the North Iberian Coast, troubled by very little, except a few nomadic Barbarians, without an established civilisation. It is at this point where the Portuguese armies see dawning on the horizon, the borders of Basque - heavily guarded by presumably their entire military force. A destroyer has been sent to flank the Basques from their North, while the Armies move slowly, with the expendable Galicians in the frontlines, with better trained Portuguese troops moving slowly behind.


On the Granada front, the blockade has been broken, but no progress has been made. 2 Catalan ships have been sunk, with perhaps some Basque support aiding the ships.

In the Berber Coast, some progress has been made by the Portuguese army. Bouznika has been conquered, and troops move in to conquer Calcutta, the wealthiest and strongest of the Berber States. The forces get weaker and weaker, as they suffer heavy attrition from the overwhelming Portuguese forces.

A small division of soldiers has been assembled, and Oran is currently in the process of being colonised by Portugal. Another expedition party is sent further along the North African coast, to find out how many other civilisations exist. Plans are made to make settlements in inhabitable ares, so as to increase Portugal's empire, and continue making slow progress on colonising.

There is no information on the ship to the USA.

Celebrations in Tokyo as the Yakima returns from its 4 month journey. Natigate is immediately greeted by Fugoko. The two chat with one another for a moment then they return to the car and drive off together.

The bands of raiders continue to harass local residents in the areas surrounding Tokyo. The people continue to call upon Fugoko who has, still, failed to respond on the matter. Military advisors suggest the raiders be dealt with as it could encourage more unrest.

In other news, Pusan and the surrounding areas have been annexed by United Japan. The Koreans were not opposed to the annexation as their survival was at stake. However they have not forgotten the hardships the Japanese have inflicted on them less then 60 years ago. Spare supplies are bei g shipped to Pusan on a continual basis. The situation in Pusan is expected to improve in a few months.

Huwhili makes a scientific breakthrough! We are in the process of slowly finding a way to reverse the fallout process. We have had success in some early contained trials in laboratories. The current research might take years to finish, but at least the foundation is set.

Onthe military front, the Huwhili army has moved to support the Lebanese against the Jewish invaders.

Meanwhile, 4,000 Local Lebanese volunteer to join the Huwhili army, and General Voz gladly takes command of them, and then mysteriously disappears. General Leon proposes court martial for this behavior, and for Voz to be hunted down.

Meanwhile, the economy of Huwhili is blossoming thanks to very refined trading processes and a great police force to ensure order. Minister al-Zav projects that in a few months, Huwhili will be the uncontested wealthiest nation.

Our Caucasian expedition has returned home, but with only 26 personnel. They report that the tribes are back into a state of war, due to a food shortage caused by the coming cold snap.

The Himalayan expedition also finally reported back, claiming to have found 8 Chinese survivor states, 3 Indian survivor states and 1 Indochinese survivor state. They all number roughly around 30,000 - 45,000 people. The expedition is ordered to become diplomats and try to establish trade routes.

The CSS Hope (I think that's the one I sent out idk) encounters Portuguese cruisers off the coast of Iberia. The Hope requests directions to The nearest Portuguese port for refueling and prepares its diplomatic delegation to open diplomacy with the country.

Area: After just about a year of exploration, most of Virginia, West Virginia, and everything east of there is now under CSA or USA control. New York is once again American (the state I mean, NYC is irradiated, as is Boston and Washington and Philly and Pittsburgh).

Temperatures have fallen by an average of ten degrees Farenheit across North America, and enough food is made for only about 11,000,000 people. It is July, the worst winter in US history is expected by meteorologists. Nuclear Winter in general is expected to last at least five years. US agricultural output is at 20% of what the area we own now was originally put out, and is expected to go down to 5% if worst goes to worst.
The Portuguese ship makes its way up the Delaware to Wilmington, where it is greeted by President Raegan, who begins talks with the Portuguese envoy immediately. Meanwhile, the American destroyer in Portugal radioed in, reporting of an Iberian War. Raegan orders the destroyer captain to offer US led peace talks between the warring Iberian states.

Meanwhile, a new group of survivors, led by the almighty Gregg Popovich, is discovered by a group of explorers in the middle of the Salt Flats in Utah. Due to the fact that the area is in the middle of nowhere, and hundreds of miles from any major cities, there is little to no radiation in the area, but the group of 10,000 is living of of rations and space food due to the fact that the conditions are not suitable for agriculture and that the gas stations in the area only held a small amount of food that was not spoiled. However, due to relative proximity to Salt Lake, there is a large amount of Lime being harvested for use in trade with other nations. Underground bunkers are being dug in case of dramatic climate change due to the previous bombings. An old, secret military base underground has been discovered, with reasonable agricultural facilities. More importantly, however, vital military research of the old USA is found, as well as supplies. Scientists have been at work for almost a month on this new information, and it is believed to be of utmost importance. The nature of the information is still unclear, however, as the files were heavily encrypted. The teams believe they have just cracked the final layer of security on these files today.

The United States government officially crosses from West Virginia into Southeast Ohio, which is left largely intact. Farms still work relatively well, and reports are that the corn belt was left somewhat intact, due to the fact that it's mostly in the middle of nowhere. Explorers reach Canton, Ohio, which has became a thriving city of 50,000. With corn supplied from Southern Ohio, this area has done better than anywhere in the United States that has been reclaimed. An expedition to Cincinnati shall begin from the remains of Pittsburgh today.
