It translates farely well.

Notable issues being stuff you'd generally expect. Hard to view your move order. Hard to make picks. Can't see territory, bonuses names easily. Chat system is pretty hard. That sort of thing.

I think I agree, even though I don't use mobile, a lot of players seem to, if Fizzer improved the app, makes it easier to play, maybe adding in simple stuff that auto-fills in attacks or something. That would draw more people in. Players might also transfer over to the warlight site from there too.

I'm surprised the mobile app is on the same server as the Warlight site, maybe if he did that with all the other servers that would help population too.

Just an idea. What about something like Patreon? Fizzer might be able to use that to make the money to do things and I'm sure the community would do it (We all love the game enough).
I would personally rather give a monthly using Patreon that paying for what is currently a rather useless membership

It'd be great of Fizzer added an alternative to PayPal as well. :| My main bank account isn't friendly with PayPal.

Nah M8. Warlight's not dying.

There are some changes that could be made in order to help Warlights long term survival, like certain features being member only again. But that's Fizer's choice. Coins is a good method of generating income and I am sure Fizzer has many more for the future.

Let's hope so.

Been here since 2011. Mostly played diplos. While the site doesn't seem as busy as it once was, I still see new users all the time.

Even if people seem to leave, there is also always a chance for people to come back. I stopped playing almost 3 years ago (I believe), but i came back about a month ago after playing a game of risk for the first time in almost the same amount of time.

Also, I know that personally as a new player i preferred to play with my friends against the AIs to test strategies and such in the beginning, so a whole slew of new players could be waiting around the corner at any given moment.

Coin games are the best. Only problem is that once you have 1000+ coins you can't find games anymore to play.
Fizzer should develop more coin games. That would make him earn more money as well.

^ Not quite. The two monthly payment ideas suggested were for a monthly Membership subscription (instead of the present Lifetime/Annual Membership options) and for a monthly pay-to-participate "Official" tournament that would work like the Seasonal Ladder and replace the Coin Leaderboard.

this will soon transform in a chat game, not a playing one . I like this game for 2 reasons : 1)cause i like to play this tipe of games & 2) i have the change to make friends from another corners of the world. It's a unique chance, cause you don't know if you will leave your country .
