Week 4 Summary




Lu Fredd and Illuminati had a great week up 22 points and 18 points, respectively. Lu Fredd is in a tighter race with M'Hunters and Illuminati with CORP.

CORP continues with an impressive 1v1 score and few team games played making their future unknown. Loosing two games is not indicative of their future. So while Illuminati has begun to catch up to CORP, it is uncertain if Illuminati can pass CORP.

General Chou's is holding their own and should have a decent showing overall. Dutch Forever and Hawks continue to stall, wracking up more losses with minimal or no growth.

The win rates in this division are very competitive. The top four clans are tightly bunched between 62.5-66.67% with a point differential between M'Hunters and Illuminati of 24 points.

Only Strat ME 1v1 tournament is finished, but Turkey, Guiroma 1v1 and Battle Islands are all 1 game away from finishing and I will make separate posts detailing the tournaments later. CORP won Strat ME 1v1, Lu Fredd won Guiroma 1v1 and M'Hunters won Turkey 1v1.

Update: Since writing this, Illuminati won Battle Islands 1v1. It hasn't been added to the above summary.

The team games are just getting started and it will be interesting to see where the clans go. Some may falter, some may gather strength. This week has shown that no clan should be complacent in their rank.

Not quite the case. While team games are individually worth more than 1v1 games, CL7 has and 9:6:5 ratio of points between 1v1/2v2/3v3 games. 45% of all possible points (up to 108) for each team come from the 36 1v1 games they play; 30% (up to 72) come from 18 2v2 games and only 25% (up to 60) come from their 12 3v3 games.

Unless the number of 2v2 and 3v3 games increases to 27 and 22 (respectively) or 2v2 games start awarding 6 points and 3v3 games start awarding 9 points each, 1v1 skills will continue to be the single best investment a clan can make.

Instead, what we see from 2v2 and 3v3 games is that just focusing on one thing doesn't propel you to the top- because the majority of points still does come from 2v2 and 3v3 games.

Congrats to fifi for a perfect record! This division is the oddest result in Division D1 so far. 4 of the 7 clans lost more games then won with 3 ending with (2-4). So yay Illuminati got 4th but it is only marginally better then last place...

Hawks did excellent here. This is one of two tournaments that Hawks have won games in. 1v1 hasn't been kind to Hawks.

So far CORP, Lu Fredd, and M'Hunters have won tournaments. Illuminati has won another but it waiting on one game to finish before I update it here. About 60% of games have finished for this division. And no clan has taken a commanding lead yet. Its gonna get interesting!

Can we get a score, win rate, points, and max points update?

These tournament summaries are so dry! Here's an update!



Illuminati and CORP are in tight race, 71 points and 70 points respectively. Lu Fredd continues to challenge M'Hunters with 84 points to 88 points respectively. Each of the deadlocked clans are tied for Max Points so no way to obviously break the deadlock.

The records for the top 4 clans are very close. M'Hunters: (26-16), Lu Fredd: (25-16), Illuminati: (22-13), CORP: (23-12). Only four wins and losses separate first and fourth.

Things have slowed down ALOT! Team games are much slower here then in other divisions. As well, I've noticed 2 Illuminati players on extended vacations recently so their games have gone nowhere for awhile for Greece and 2v2 Strat ME. I doubt things will pick up tbh.

Looking at Divisions D1 and D2, D1 has completed 70-80 fewer points than D2. We are a slower bunch.

I will consider adding win rate to the above table at a later date.

Well, a lot of games in D2 finished quicker because games were auto-completed, as some players didn't join ^_^

If I'm not mistaken, we have a 100% attendance rate here.

nope, RBK of M'Hunters has been booted a plenty of times due to some unpredictable circumstances

I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about Darklord and Poon Squad players failing to show up in tournaments, and getting instant losses.

Technically both AyanM and Ox are right. RedBloodyKiller was booted but we have a 99% completion rate, just not 100%.

yeah, Olympus had quite a few boots too, along with poonsquad. Darklords were on another level though.
