M'Hunters and Lu Fredd have been pretty much flat for over a week now with Illuminati, CORP (and now including General Chou's) inching up towards the two leaders.

General Chou's has quietly been going up and up and up. And now they are just saying "well this already had 4 clans relatively close, why not screw with that dynamic a bit?"

So Lu Fredd had an awesome day. They now lead the division. Other then that, nothing much to report.

i am more amazed by General Chou's performance.

they did really well and are on the way to fight for the third place!

of course the loses a considerable handicap...

with Ko nnn and Fluk in their clan...they are probably gonna win a lot of team games i think they will end up top 3

Week 4 Summary:

This is the first interesting week! About 2/3 of games are now done. Lu Fredd and M'Hunters; CORP and Illuminati swapping ranks. General Chou continuing their impressive run. Lets get into this!

General Chou (up 24), Lu Fredd (up 19) and Illuminati (up 16) each grew a lot this week which allowed Lu Fredd and Illuminati to move up a rank. General Chou is running a competitive 5th in points.

M'Hunters lost the lead but it was outside of their control. They just didn't complete many games this week (its between 1-3 games, a paltry amount). So they stood still while Lu Fredd was finishing games left, right and center. So while M'Hunters has been largely flat for awhile now, they haven't fallen out of the running for the division's promotion spot.

It is a similar story for Illuminati and CORP. Illuminati completed more games then CORP and outgrew them. CORP continues to have the best win rate. The majority of CORP games completed are 1v1 with team games remaining a wildcard to see where CORP goes for the rest of the season. Illuminati has been gathering lots of points from team games to edge out CORP. I'm as surprised by the results of Illuminati's 1v1 vs. team games as everyone else. A large shakeup of Illuminati's 1v1 line-up will take place for next season and I am confident in a much, much stronger showing next season.

Illuminati and CORP are still more or less tied. Illuminati leads slightly in completed points, CORP leads slightly in max points. This deadlock will break eventually.

Now, General Chou. You are looking like a spoiler. Some are saying they may claim third in this division but I doubt that. They need Illuminati and CORP to fall apart in the team games to overcome being 10-20 points behind with a 30+ point max point handicap. It can happen just it isn't entirely in their control.

Considering the tough competition in this group Hawks is not doing to bad. (referring to a 20% win rate here) Also considering that the clan is "the good sportsmanship clan" they have never really focused on strategic play, unlike other clans in D1.

Also overall 20% as the last place in a group is rather good. Only BR (20.45%) in division B has the same relative high win rate.


VIW in div C has a 95% win rate! Damn.

normally i dont do this ... but as no other clan has mentioned it. well fkin done lu fredd!

it would be quite ironic if Illuminai, ostensibly a 1v1 focused clan, gets a podium spot primarily from the team games instead :P

Lu Fredd is up again (surprise!). Illuminati has widen their margin vs. CORP but dropped in Max Points again so still close between those two clans going forward. And I have somehow overlooked one Dutch Forever game they won for almost a week now, so I apologize and the scores for everyone are correct now. Will M'Hunters start finishing games this week? I hope so. I want to see some competition between them and Lu Fredd.

Speaking of overlooking games, it seems you've only counted 1 of the 2 2v2 victories for CORP.

Lu Fredd continues its upward trajectory with M'Hunters also moving up although slower. Lu Fredd and M'Hunters looks like they are pulling away from the pile-up in the middle. At this point the sole promotion spot looks like a M'Hunters, Lu Fredd fight. Looking back, not one person put Lu Fredd in the top 2 spots so they are the surprise this season.

With so many players putting Illuminati as number 1 it is safe to say they are under performing compared with expectations. Personally, I just happy the roster hasn't imploded and Illuminati is in 3rd right now. We all have different expectations.

Illuminati and CORP are tied with a slight edge given to Illuminati, max points +4 higher then CORP and a +6 point lead in points but its razor thin. With most 1v1 games finished, and Illuminati having a stronger showing in team games so far (Illuminati: (7-1), CORP: (3-5) ), CORP needs to turn things around. We are looking a small sample size and it is possible to not be representative.

Hawks and Dutch Forever are winning some games and are posting strong win rates for the bottom two clans.
