So you discriminate people based on their opinions? That's not discrimination. If you didn't call Trump a racist, it would be plausible to think that you post Je suis pics because you actually want to support legitimate efforts to stop radical Islamic terrorism.

If you're ticked off at me, I can explain.
I liked it, because I too am tired of having to have such horrible things happen to people. Its sickening to see people bomb a public building or shoot down 20 people, and worse for this to happen so many times that we just accept it as common life. Another mass shooting? That's guaranteed to happen once a month at least in the US.

Trump will actually defeat ISIS as opposed to Hillary, Bernie, and probably Cruz as well. That will save many Belgian lives right there.
Yes because Trump is a 100% good for his word. Oh please. The disillusionment with reality reeks of hopeless optimism. Stop trying to predict the future. You don't have a glass ball and you have no idea what Trump will do. Who knows...maybe he'll turn ISIS into another Iraq quagmire.
Your only explanation or defensible argument for supporting Trump is that you trust his word. You think that just because he says "I'll make America great again" he can magically make it happen with his orange dyed hair? He doesn't have a single laid-out policy besides his egregiously atrocious tax plan. He doesn't even know what the frickin nuclear triad is and he thinks he should be president of the largest economy in the world? At this point we should just let high school dropouts become president.

At least Trump knows how to defeat ISIS (take the oil). He probably won't enter Iraq alone, he sounds like he doesn't want another costly war. Maybe he makes a deal with Russia, so Putin will defeat ISIS. Maybe he gets European powers to participate. In any case, if anyone has a chance to defeat ISIS, it's Trump. Not Hillary, not Bernie, probably not Cruz either, but only Trump.
If you think Trump is a flip-flopper, could you have predicted GWB's foreign policy from his campaign speeches? He said he'd focus on domestic affairs. I admit that Obama has been more consistent, though. He said he would leave Iraq, and it was easy to foresee the disaster that would happen there once US troops left.

However, it is likely that Trump's warcrimes would create more radicalization among Muslims in Syria and Iraq. Trump's war crimes didn't create Muslim radicalization. Neither did US meddling with Middle Eastern affairs. The so-called "moderate Muslim" has always been fertile breeding ground for radical Islamic terrorism, whether in the Middle East, Indonesia, or Europe. There is a problem within that religion and we need to figure out how to deal with it.

The Lord, you're pathetic. You're using a thread about the brussels attacks to defend a candidate that will do more evil then good in the middle east. Killing people isn't the solution to avoid terrorist attacks, it's actually the precise reason of why we are on this actual scenario. But you're too ignorant to say anything else then what is writen on the script. You're an alienated, or as I like to say, a trum minion. You just repeat what your "savior" said, while ignoring that he doesn't know what the heck he is saying.
I'm sad for Brussels, it's a country I like very much because of it's proximity to France, I hope the families of the dead and the wounded manage to heal from such an atrocity. The world is with you.

Sanctimonious words of sympathy to the victims while condemning everyone proposing real solutions as racists is better than proposing a working solution? Yeah, right.
Sometimes killing people is the solution. I very much prefer an ISIS fighter dead to an innocent civilian.

I don't think this is completely fair to Lord. I don't think he's using the thread to defend Trump, but to try to draw attention to the fact that Obama and Europe and the Middle East are not solving the problem of Islamic Jihadism and the spread of ISIS.
Now I don't necessarily agree with Trump or Lord on the "way" to solve this issue, but I don't think we should (or could) reduce their entire position to "kill them". To be fair, Trump has taken some bold steps in addressing some concerns (legitimate or illegitimate is up to opinion) of people in the Middle East, such as saying he would be a neutral 3rd party in all negotiations between Israel and Palestine, even in opposition to AIPAC and the GOP.

Gods, I understand why Belgians would care upon this, but last week in Ankara, 37+ were killed. And what thread came upon here? Or when 41+ were killed in Yemen, also last week? Many of the people putting up "Je suis" pics are the same ones who condemn all critics of Islam as racists. Would you condemn all dogmatic faiths for literal interpretists? In that case, you are sound.

Would you condemn all dogmatic faiths for literal interpretists? In that case, you are sound. Eager strawmanning, I see. The truth is that adherents of Islam stand out from other religions in their violence and bigotry. Not only do they have ISIS and Al-Qaida, but the rank and file Muslim is also way more backwards than your average Christian or atheist. Some Muslims are good people, but the average Muslim is very radical by comparison.

That's not what I'm talking about, nor what the folk you are taking about shielding. Violent Islamic extremism, everyone hates that. I'm not talking about their practitioners, I'm only taking about the faith itself, as you were.

Yeah but a religion is defined by its adherents. If you take things out of context, you can make the Bible or Qur'an to mean anything, so you cannot base much on that.

Some of this just seems like the Law of Unintended Consequences if you ask me. Take Darwin's theory of natural selection. Originally he meant it to explain the development of organisms from the origin of life, but others used it to justify colonialism, eugenics, and racism.

This. Given enough time, anything can be twisted to mean something horrible. A faith is meant by its dogma. Almost noone (not the Mashriqar, not the Base, not any violent Islamic extremist groups), follows the Reading or the Book to every letter, and it would be awful if they did. By that thinking, if a dogma is "defined" by its adherents, then Trump's ideas must be bisexual yet heterosexual at the same time, 45 years or older, and whiteskins. Some would argue that's only possible because its inherently embedded with something horrible. Yes, I agree with that. Bigoted dogmatism of any kind is a bad thing.

To have ISIS bomb a western capital is a pretty big deal. We can now add Brussels to the list of capitals that have had some substantial lives lost in terrorist attacks.
Baghdad Ankara Damascus Paris Brussels More.
Whatever we are doing to stop ISIS, it doesn't seem to be working. Let's stop tearing Syria apart please. That's step one. Let's recognize what ISIS is doing is genocide ("Never Again," you useless UN). Step two. Getting rid of oil, telling Saudi Arabia to f*ck off. Step three.
Or, we can do what we have been doing and wait for the next capital to be bombed, and then act surprised, as if we didn't see it coming.
(I still think my personal plan would be most effective.)
