"Are you saying that QB is better than MoD on 2v2 final earth?" not saying he is, but he did rank higher on the 2v2 ladder than MoD ever did
"QB is better than Seph on 2v2 ME SR?" Any day of the week :D not saying Seph is a bad player, but QB is just REALLY good.

Tbh I don't really care much on this matter, just answering the questions that were not answered but coming from a different point of view, and not trying to side with either of the side, I believe the other clans feel cheated since Masters was able to change the lineup by altering around players and implementing QB into the lineup which they feel to be unfair and gives Masters a upper hand in the Clan A league.

I feel so :P but I also feel that it was so last minute which they thought is unfair since you were able to switch your lineup around and make it much better which as they aren't able to do that

On a matter of principal, Masters are in the wrong here but there are a few things going for them.

1. For CL7 and all CL before that, Clans could change their lineups up until the day the tournaments were created. Or in other words, the deadline to submit your lineup was the same day as the tournament started so there wasn't any of this swapping.

2. By having QB participate, it gives a better representation of the upper echelons of the Master Clan which is what this league is all about. The Rules should embody a desire to have the rosters reflect the abilities and activity of all the Clans' top tier players. This deadline rule does not reflect this principal.

I have replaced people for some clans that had people leave their clan or go inactive. When i saw this request i paused because it is not those scenarios. In the past we never made these elective changes.

I told motd my reservations about this, especially as Phaeril said people were outraged that lineups were seen by some before the deadline. It sort of throws out the deadline if any changes are ok.

I will let him decide how to set the precident here. Since he will have to live with it.

I am really sorry for confirming that I will participate this season to late but I was almost inactive the last monthes and just came back 3days ago. Since I do not like the ladders anymore cl is the only way for me to play highly competetiv games with friends, so I would love to play. I didn't know about a deadline and thought it is like last season, the last thing I wanted is to beginn a discussion like this o.O . I hope it's still possible but I can understand your claim.

you even don't replace someone to give opportunity to play QB, you change also players who exist in you lineup

with or without QB imo Masters will win this CL
but if you change your lineup and you win, everyone will talk that you win because of that

Nice QB found the time to participate. And for those who are competing in A(similar things could happen in any Group i guess) they could be happy to have more challenging games. I guess noone wants to have the title in A if only beginners do participate and noone is unbeatable ;-). All in all this is just a game to stimulate our brain cells a bit, no? So why worry :-)

I would like the hardest competition it's possible to have, particularly in this CL8 in A that should probably be the most competitive ever. So, yes, this should be good QB be in.

BUT, to change the lineup after the deadline by adding a new player, (in not 1, but 3 tournaments...), this is just unfair for other clans. In fact, it is not that bad, maybe not so decisive, but if this is allow, we should allow to every clans to change their lineup as they want until the tournament start... so deadline are made for what ? It will be a mess.

Only emergencies should allow a new player to go in, to replace one that could not play. And for the best, this should be regulated more precisely.

Push claimed about unfairness when some clans could see other lineup before post them. That was a mistake from organizers, that was hard to prevent. Now, a clan that as part of the tourney, Masters, finally decided to do something relatively similar.

Furthermore, the point that Masters should win anyway is not admissible. If you allow this kind of argument, it easy to understand this lead to a clan get more rights because it seems better anyway. Of course this should not.

Yes Masters probably will win, I think they will, but I'm not back from the futur. Let's see this tourney and not trying to end it before it started.

It's not a question of jealousy or get better chances to win for himself or any kind of bad feeling against Masters. Even less to QB.

Just fair rules. No claim. Good tourney.

Of course i do agree that rules/deadlines are made for a reason. Seeing the lineup of others can lead to an "unwanted" advantage - yes. I just wanted to state - underline - that most of us are enjoying the competitive fun of CL. .-) If we all would agree on any setup no rules would have to be applied, thats clear. With the "QB-situation" we do realize how rules are prosecuted or not. For me personally i would welcome any good player if the CL hasnt started, but lets make it simple.... can all the clans in A live with QB attending? or does anyone REALLY want Masters to change their lineup again? ;-)

To all clans in A.. wouldnt it be more satisfying to beat Master with QB on their team?... :-D

Exactly. But sophism. The whole tournament has to be fair, so each part of it has to. If you create a rule, for any reason, do the same for everyone.

I believe the bigger problem isn't one player added at this point, but the precedent it creates. If Masters can change their lineup now, maybe Apex will decide to do the same, and then WG, Lynx, French, Turtles and GG. And that's only in A, maybe a clan in any other division can just decide to change their entire lineup after seeing the competition.

That just creates too much of a mess, if we have a deadline, we should either keep it or not have a deadline at all...
