No hijack of The Lost Wolves happened under my control. There was a controlled incident to who in the clan was actually interested in/capable of leadership (somewhat desperate situation), and I've documented this elsewhere. At no time during this exercise were Manager Rights in the hands of anyone other than me, OxTheAutist, or Zephyrum- all of them are people I can trust. In the end, the operation succeeded and the Wolves were able to draw out a capable new leader from the woodwork. To replace myself was my intention from day one. I'm not a Wolf and should not be leading the Wolves- I was just there to fix things and replace myself with an actual leader.

Even the two Forum threads on the incident were made at my request to create some verisimilitude.

Yes, I sent the clan into dormant mode. I paid for the clan and it wasn't going the way I wanted it to go. I wasn't in a position to lead it at the time and handing over leadership would mean giving up my full control of the clan. So I closed it- and I closed it responsibly. Anyone who was formerly in Optimum still has full access to the entire Clan Forum as of the day the clan was put into hibernation.

Again, just a reminder that- like you said- these aren't relevant to this thread. But Norman brought them up and they're accusations against me which you're defending here- so I have to address them because they're attacks against me.

Players do not "represent" their clans in clan league

Unlike your Olympic analogy:

- AI was known to be a cheater well before the roster submission deadline

- Your clan's leadership chose for him to represent you competitively

- According to an M'Hunters member (TBest), nothing happened to AI beyond censure in your Skype chat

If an Olympic team draws a swastika somewhere and nothing happens to it, their country's National Olympic Committee is held responsible for continuing to give that team their stamp of approval. Just like you continue to give a cheater your stamp of approval.

AI is a free agent and he is free to associate or dis associate with any team, faction, ideology, assembly, or other group as he sees fits. It is not this bodies business telling AI where he can and can't play.

You're a free clan and you can be (and are) extremely selective with regard to whom you allow in your clan and whom you choose to represent you in competition.

If you could exercise that selectivity against people for not being skilled enough, you certainly can exercise it against people for cheating willfully and with full knowledge, even after they'd been caught.

I will continue to poke fun at your baseless claims until you cease spewing such venom onto the forums.

I provided a large body of evidence- for the AI claim, there's an entire thread worth of proof. For your behavior, there's plenty of evidence provided here, especially in my latest comment. And instead of "poking fun," you guys made personal attacks and your most responsive comment was literally "tl;dr."

Regarding AyanM's suspicion's about GE: I have known Ayan for a while now and he is not an idiot. Given recent events, you would be hard pressed to find anybody in either Hydra or M'Hunters who would trust the leadership of their opposite number. His speculations are not baseless and anybody with two brain cells would come to the same conclusion.

Yes, because personally attacking someone is the natural way to respond when they bring up a feature suggestion. Just like it's okay for Norman to harass me in any thread that has anything to do with me (latest example being the TLW "hijack" thread) or to harass other players like The Hysterical Koala.

Like I said, your clan has a culture of excusing dickish behavior- and again, you should be excluded from the community until you reform yourselves.

I really don't want to oppose your clan- as you remember, even after you insulted me from your alt (which at that time you claimed to be your main), I treated you fairly and- unlike AyanM with GrEx- respected and even asked for your opinion. I don't want to be in a position to call you guys out for treating me and other people on this site like we're less than people. So please fix yourselves.

If I said anything untrue then by all means say so. If not then own up. The first step to solving a problem is realizing you have one. #CORProblems

To be honest, for most people... all the proof they need can probably be found by going through their common games with M'Hunters players and reading the chat.

I get that your clan takes pride in its trash talk. But it also says on your clan page that there's a fine line between trash talking and being an asshole. Have you ever thought that treating people like trash (even when they have a lack of skill or when they're apparently rivals with your clan) crosses that fine line?

Like I get that you guys don't like Hydra. But you're also the ones saying here that it's "just a game" and no one should take it seriously. I don't see how automatically switching to insult mode when GrEx messages you- just because you're apparently rivals or something- follows that advice.

Ben, I get that I'm creating drama here. I get that you're uncomfortable. I get that, just because you don't like seeing something, other people shouldn't say it.

But what am I supposed to do? Stay quiet while I get harassed by these guys regularly and while a community I enjoy engaging in moves in the wrong direction? Let them make it more acceptable for people in this community to cheat and to mistreat other people in the name of good old "trash talk"?

I'm sorry you have to see this, but I hope you understand why I have to say it.

@Tabby: I have no problem with either clan. I just have a distaste for your habit of derailing threads and turning lots of non-Felidae-related discussions into places for you to talk about all your Felidae plans. I'd just appreciate it if you only brought up Felidae where it was relevant, and didn't exit that scope. People create non-Felidae threads because they want a specific kind of discussion, and by derailing them you're making it harder for that discussion to actually happen.

Similarly, I don't hate M'Hunters. I just have an issue with the behavior they condone, excuse, and promote in the community. I'd be more than happy to go back to respecting them, their skill, and their contributions to the community (like Norman's really helpful strategy guide) once they resolve these current issues. You can easily see here that I've tried to avoid engaging them in personal attacks. I didn't even respond to personal accusations until Krogius forced me to, because I'd rather try and limit how personal things get.

I'm not uncomfortable, it's really just them being assholes and stupid and you overreacting. Rogue is acting like a complete douche-bag, hence why I kicked him from the clan (a while ago). Everyone just needs to stop, I don't care about seeing anything, I've seen plenty.

As much as this has been fascinating to read, if you want to continue to bicker in a Clan League thread, please move to a new thread and continue there. I can link the thread here if you want so people can naturally follow the conversation somewhere else.

Also this entire problem is actually about Felidae.

Tabby, like I said earlier, I'd really appreciate it if you didn't try to derail every thread and make it a Felidae thread. :3 There's plenty of room to talk about cats in actual Felidae threads. Meow!

Do you think someone who may have cheated in the ladder can not participate in CL? I personally don't since people can not cheat in the CL.

Going back to Krogius' Olympics analogy, you also can't draw swastikas while running the 100m sprint or trying to defend against Pau Gasol. Instead, it's about what you condone. Just like how countries kick out athletes to send the message that "No, you can't cheat and still expect us to let you compete in the Olympics. Your actions have consequences," M'Hunters had the option to tell AI "No, you can't cheat this egregiously and willfully and still expect us to let you compete on our behalf. You don't represent your values. Our clan stands against cheating and we want to be crystal clear on that."

But they didn't. Instead they showed all of us that, if you're a M'Hunter and you're good, you can cheat and come out with basically no consequences.
