Also, a LOT is going to rest on the 3v3s for the final standings. It'll be close between 101st and Apprentice, while I think TJC has almost secured their spot in C.

All it'll take for 101st to jump above Apprentice is to beat them on 3v3, and for Apprentice to slip up (against TJC, for example). (this is all assuming both clans win all the rest of their games)

With Stats already dropping to 101st, it's looking tough for them to climb back above 101st, but anything's possible, even more so when you have Math Wolf ;)

Hawks sadly look like they'll have to settle to fight for 4th, while DWF is looking even more ragged, with 2 lost already in 3v3 action, and only one 2v2 and no 1v1s left.

Looking forward to an intense conclusion to this group! It's been a wild ride!

TJCs loss to Stats on the 3v3 pretty much means TJC, 101st, Apprentice and Stats all still have a chance to end up 1st to 4th.

This div is absolutely crazy.

Though 101st and Staticians are not far behind.
HAWKS had a losing streak. It is still possible to get first but the chances are not good. :/
At least only 1 point is necessary to safe the 5th place towards DwF.

I think it'd be a massive disappointment if 101st ends up third and fails at promoting, regarding their lineup. 101st is easily the best clan on paper. Consider their 1v1 ladder stats. They have two players who have ratings in the 2000's, two players in the 1900's, and one in the 1800's. Then TJC has one player in the 2000's and two in the 1900's, and everyone else in the qualifier section is below 1800.

Then you have other clans like Statisticians and Apprentice who are both arguably better on paper than TJC too.

Nothing changes this week in the ranking of the clans, however as some people have mentioned the fight for the first places are very tight with each clan trading blows with each other! The 3v3 games are going to have to prove decisive!

Calling my post on skype 'stupid as fuck' has really triggered me!

On a serious note, I'm not sure if you are aware of who is actually playing for TJC in CL9. There are only 3 alts, Rikku, Dr.love and myself. I find it hard to believe that finishing 3rd in this group would somehow be 'disappointing,' but, each to their own I guess.

Sorry if I triggered you. Wasn't my point, still, judging skills of a team by their 1v1 ladder ratings is kinda irrelevant.

Also, I, as many others, thought Innerspeaker was Pulsey, but it was obviously wrong, since it seems to be you :p

I thought I did a good job at conveying the sarcasm, you can say whatever you want. I think everyone judges by stats hence why we were ranked 4th in the Q3 predictions, I was trying to illustrate that in my original post. I was just puzzled that finishing 3rd would be considered choking for us when the community didn't seem to have high expectations of us anyway.

I think it is a very interesting and balanced group. It is a bit sad, that only 2 clans will qualify, but so far a lot of interesting games did happen in this group.

If my predictions are correct, it will be a very close race between 1st and 4th (<10 points). TJC and Apprentice have a solid lead, but a lot of points can be distributed in the missing games.

Maybe it is an idea for next season to let all 3rd of the qualifier groups play one small game against each other(short boot/real time) for another spot in C to balance the qualifier groups. I know it may take some time and we have to see, how fast qualifier groups and C will end, but in general I like this idea.

1v1 ladder ratings aren't irrelevant when determining a players skill and potential.

In my opinion, good ladder ratings is an indicator of skill but bad or no ladder ratings isn't a sign of lack of skill. That's why judging predictions just off stats is silly as you are ignoring talented players that may just have not had a proper crack at the ladder.

Coming into this week we see a change in leadership! Apprentice have snuck into first place ahead of TJC. The other standings stay the same this week, every game is becoming more and more crucial! Some 3v3 wins are coming in and most are progressing further into the late game! and well.....DWF still haven't won a 2v2 or a 3v3 :(

Coming into this week we see a change in leadership! TJC has come out of nowhere to steal 1st place. Congratulations to Ikillu for sweeping 2v2 Guiroma (thanks for puppeting me too), surely the big clans will come knocking now, he is the only player to go flawless in this group of death. Meanwhile, Apprentice have slid down to 3rd, but they have a strong 3v3 team so perhaps they can still fight their way up to the promotion spots. Any of the top 4 clans can still promote though so GL all.

Game of the week: I'm only aware of one game finishing this week (2v2 Guiroma) and it was extremely boring. Therefore, I'll link a game from Q2 on Volcano Island with an interesting chat.
