Perhaps you should connect Lecce in Italy to South Albania so that it is easier to travel between the Balkans and the Italian Peninsula instead of having to go around the entire Adriatic Sea. Having to do that will be highly irritating.

Why work on one mega-project when you can have three at the same time...? You're nuts man. :D

Oh, and there's an empty circle to the left of Portugal (below mini-map-Albania), which I think you forgot to delete.

Seeing those two other maps you're working on (and where you started on Europe Big), are you from Serbia by any chance?

Hmm, I don't like the fact that Ukraine bonuses are even (4 armies), and giving 4 armies for 1 territory (Uzghorod) is not a good idea imo.

Isn't it obvious? He just hasn't set the bonus values yet! They're standard 4, but you can edit them later.

Yes, I'm from Serbia. On my map it's shown Serbia-Vojvodina-Srem. You?
Belgrade map project is very complicated, so it's delayed and then I have started with Europe big.

All sub-bonuses except capital bonuses will be changed when I implement a formula for every country. One changes: for small countries there will not be x factor, their bonus value will be a little below of Nt.
Example: Slovenia have bonuses worth 5 armies per turn, B/Nt=0,8. Hungary have bonus 10 and + 5+3+2, B/Nt=1. For big countries, B/Nt=over 1. It's simple.

It does not belong to any of the bonuses, so it can be distincted by border color.

I'm from the Netherlands.

The Beograd map looks really interesting. What kind of a design will it be; in the top left corner it kinda looks like you're trying to include every single building...!? (BTW, there's a missing connection between Unnamed and Unnamed. Also, Unnamed and Unnamed should be connected. ;) )

If you want to go into detail, maybe it would be better to discuss this is a separate thread?

include every single building"
Ha! No, it isn't possible.:)
It is grouped into blocks. New Belgrade is best example. But, there is special separate buildings such as: churches, schools, towers, hospitals, stadiums... On that map you will be able to use railway, ships, roads (circles) and helicopters.
First I must finished Europe big, then I will continue work on that map.

17, almost 18? Where did you get that numbers? For your information, it is 16.739.385 (or 16,739,385 or 16 739 385)

You might want to change some of the bonus border colors. Some of them are too similar to their neighbors' so they appear to blend unless I look closely or press the bonus links.

LOKI, take your time, great maps take time to create. Do you know the saying "Rome wasn't built in a day"? It very much applies here!

Disclaimer: the remainder of this post has zero useful content, just having some fun. :)

Two of the things I remember from visiting Beograd:

The Cathedral of Saint Sava (that's going to be in the map, right?), while they were still building it.
I've always thought no new churches were built anymore (except for the Sagrada Família), but was proven wrong. Even with construction workers running around and scaffolding still in place it was already one of the most impressive churches I've ever seen. I hope to go see it again when it's officially finished!

A Serbian friend asked me my favourite Serbian song, and I was actually able to answer her question. :D
Shortly before that visit some Slovenian taught me about Divlje Jagode - Motori.
It's probably just a crazy coincidence, but Divlje Jagode started in 1977, had their first big success with Motori in 1982 and are still active. That's very similar to Normaal - Oerend Hard; Normaal started in 1975, had their first big success with Oerend Hard in 1977 and are also still active. Both songs are about motorcycles, and both have become golden oldies.

Ever since February 3rd, 1996, from then until forever, it's a fact set in stone: there are exactly 15 million people in the Netherlands. :)
(I'd consider this clip safe-for-work and safe-for-all-ages, Youtube disagrees; I guess one of the shots of an overcrowded beach has a topless girl in it somewhere. So much for wars van betutteling...)

For the Dutch people too young to remember (and the ones who, just like me, can't believe it's really been 16 years): Wikipedia.
There's unfortunately no article about this song on the English Wikipedia, so for the non-Dutch-speaking: the song started as the soundtrack for a commercial, but gained ridiculous popularity (nowadays we would say it had gone viral, except that phrase didn't exist yet at the time).
It describes various "typically Dutch" properties; such as "a bicycle isn't safe anywhere" (you'll recognize that portion when you see it :p ), not taking authority too seriously (near the beginning of the clip, the camera zooms in on a sign saying "don't step on the grass", the girls "borrowing" the cap of the police officer) and a general tendency towards "live and let live".

Yes, I know this is off-topic, but if a Serbian guy (who couldn't possibly know about this Dutch cult classic, right?) implicitly states the Netherlands have 15 million inhabitants, I simply have to respond. :)

ps. Nostalgia aside, the actual number is indeed well over 16, close to 17, million.
