Yea in MSF it was mainly myself and other 'management' initiating anything in the clan. We had 100+ members but few actually participated unless we pushed them to do so.

Alright, about me.

I originally came to Warlight playing diplomacy, then went inactive for about a year. When I came back it was because I was streaming, and all my viewers slowly nudged me into trying strat. My original clan at that point "American Empire" was dead (if it was ever alive) and I was invited by the FCC and I fell in love with it.Since then I have been a staple in the clan.

In January I created and alt and requested to see who would take me. My main purpose for this was that in the FCC my skill had capped and I wasn't seeing any further improvement, so I joined the 101st (Thanks to all the clans that said no because I was an alt :P). I have been active in both communities for over a month now and I am very happy with my time in both clans, I left FCC's council and later FCC (To be explained) in the past couple weeks.

What am I looking for in a clan?
An active group of players that are looking for a community player. I am active and talkative, willing to offer help to any players that need it. I require a strategy based core and preferrably a discord server for that clan.

What happened in the FCC?

The clan has lived and died with Aura's activity over the past few years. When he is up and playing, FCC thrives, when he goes on hiatus FCC dies. Realizing this Aura made the decision to create a council and remove all alts from major positions. It worked... at first.
Under Pardon, strategy started it's trek upwards, while under CBerkley, diplomacy thrived. Cartography has always been decent, but didn't really start growing until recently. I was elected to the council after Pardon left for ONE!. It continued thriving under DontAttackMe/Cberkley/Noobinator until they became relatively inactive. The new council was installed and we continued thrive until a few months ago, when activity dropped, including Aura. For these past couple months I have been the only active council member of the FCC, and have been the driving force of keeping the strat core active as well as recruiting, running the discord and preparing the CL lineup. Throw on top of this I was the only one running the Tiered clan War, and my drive to have time to improve, I had enough. Despite countless times of asking for help from the council and telling them I planned to step down, nothing happened. I couldn't take it anymore and I stepped down. This caused some commotion in the FCC as the council was dissolved and a redevelopment chat was created. There was plenty of talking, but nothing was done. After trying to convince them to merge, I decided I could not stay in the FCC and not get involved somehow in it'd rebuilding, so I left. Next day I wake up and the clan is gutted. This both saddens me and angers me. All the work I put in? Was it for nothing? Despite this I am thankful to everyone in the FCC for giving me a chance, and despite the sourness left behind, I still love ya'll guys.

To any former FCCer's and friends of mine that were kicked out, I'd appreciate if you pm me and I'll help you look for a new clan.

@Aura I think alts bring not much to a clan. We had plenty of alts before in NWO and it was not doing the clan any favors. Good players leaving an uprising clan to join elite clans is very hard to see indeed and the only way to somehow prevent it is to have an extremely solid bond with most of your players (in particular the top ones), which is not easy to do and even if you do, it doesn't guarantee they won't leave :(.

Alts can provide some good, I think good examples are Pardon while he was in FCC, me in 101st, and Tribalwars in FCC. I think nWo's problem was they had too many, when your core is pretty much all alts, you're clan isn't gonna get anywhere. As far as the players leaving, it was because after I left plenty of talking happened but nothing was done.

Not totally sure. Something about it being for players who are active on discord or something, but that doesn't much make sense to me. Totally unnecessary and killed the community I wanted to keep together.

This makes me feel more like a failure and disgrace to warlight. I am sorry guys that I let you all down. I was never meant to be a part of this game. I am just a stupid idiot player who took on more than he could swallow. Seeing gamerz work so hard and my own loss of motivation knew that disaster was meant to be coming. Its just a cumulations of failures in my own part, both irl and here, that are turning me into a mess. I can't even figure out if my own health is right or not. I have had this dizzy feeling for months on end, and I can't figure it out. Well, its probably due to a failure on my part as well. I don't deserve this game. I don't deserve this community. I don't deserve anything. Because I am a failure. And failure don't deserve anything.

You deserve the ability to drop a game when you don't feel like you're having fun anymore.

You deserve the ability to say you don't want to be responsible for governing a clan for awhile, and you deserve recognition from others who don't deserve to be entitled to let you make the fun for them all the time.

You deserve to be happy, and you don't deserve unnecessary baggage and guilt.

I have the utmost respect for you Aura, both you and I know that you couldn't hold the clan together by yourself, nor would you be able to stay active forever. This is a failure on the part of the council as a whole, I do not blame you and nor should anyone else. You should do what I did, take the option that makes you the happiest, you can't just rely on pleasing yourself.

Ye don't be too hard on yourself Aura. Most people just join top clans instead of trying to build something of their own. Just few months ago, few people (within the WL strategy) were taking FCC seriously until you showed people wrong and started recruited very good players (Smoove for example) to really establish yourself as a serious strategic clan. I have no clue how you were perceived in the diplomatic part of your clan but in the strategic part, I think no clans other than maybe 7th Heaven has made so much improvements during the last 6 months or so.

I also understands how you feel Aura, because there are some clans out there like NWO that I think relies a lot on their main leader to glue everyone together and make the community great.

Don't blame yourself too hard Aura not everyone can play this game for so long. If you had to leave then you had to leave not a big deal. This is a sensitive subject at the moment, but I feel this must be discussed.

Aura Guardian leader of FCC has decided to disband the FCC.
As the leader he has this right. As a member of FCC he failed FCC. Shortly before the disband there was a reformation committee designed to help rebuild FCC. Lots of subjects were discussed there but one of the most important topics was what to do with FCC. Not once was there the mention to destroy the community that existed, not only was there no mention, there was conversations about restoring FCC. A misguided attempt to restore hope before it was crushed.

Where Aura has failed FCC and its members is: when you lead there is a responsibility to what you create, and when you create a community as prosperous and well define as FCC was, it exacts a toll from its leader. Where Aura failed is not recognizing this toll and failure to communicate this burden with his council. A leader must delegate work, A leader must lead his Clan and community not idle by and watch it wither and die. If a leader cannot or is unable to lead anymore you pass the torch, not destroy everything everyone has put so much work into. The members of FCC are the one who were wronged today, unjustly was their clan taken from them when so many other options existed and were discussed.

I don't think anyone particularly in the clan caused it, it's just a culmination of things. Kicking everyone out was a horrible idea, but at the end of the day it's a game. I had to make a decision for my happiness and so does Aura, I wish him good luck in the future and hope whatever is the root cause of his unhappiness gets solved.

Not to mention you didn't ask to be the leader, sinistral kinda dumped it on your lap.

Look, I raged guys. I blindy struck down because that is what was going to happen anyway. I removed mr from myself, and now the clan is working its way to finding a new director, new mission, and a reworked community. I am now just a pedestrian. I might even move on from this place I once loved and cherished myself.
