Lastly, I would like to thank all the candidates for applying. They are all good options.

A small word on our two proposals at the bottom.
These try to find a consensus / middle ground between some opposing views on the ethics panel that were not yet decided on. A separate vote on this would have only delayed the process, so we included them immediately.

• 3 versus 5 members: 3 is a minimum and extending it will only be done if clan leaders sufficiently support the lower ranked candidates as well.
  
  
• same or different clans: we propose to have at minimum 3 different clans, but allow for a second member of the same clan only as fourth or fifth member if they receive sufficient support. This is a consensus between avoiding to give one clan too much power and rejecting good candidates because there is already someone else from the same clan.
  

The first draft of these proposals was written before receiving applications.

Of note, in this election same clan rules apply to:
Edge & psykkoman (Outlaws/Platatoe Knights)
Reza & Chris (WG)

I will obviously not give any voting advice on the candidates.
My voting advice on the proposals is for clan leaders to agree with them.
Nevertheless, we will execute whatever the majority decides.

I don't have anything against Star, but disclosing that you have an alt and refusing to name it is not a good start for an ethics committee.

Quick note regarding Edge and Tekzen, Tekzen was part of Outlaws for a brief period of time, tho due to his main allegiance swinging to CORP for CL and clan activities, the option was done to remove him from the clan and clan activities. However an invite to Tekzen was made to the Platatoe Knights as the clans main purpose which it says in the clan page is to welcome friends and players who have retired/who have been in the clan.

Point being, I feel it's wrong to say Edge/Tekzen are in the same clan and it shouldn't be painted as if they are. Clan representatives should vote as they are from seperate entities, as if its painted that they are the same clan, it will mess up with the voting.

@MW: What happens if the first proposal gets rejected and the second gets accepted (or "Disagree: all different clans" wins)?

Seems to me that you could have a situation where, say, ChrisCMich, Edge, and psykkoman end up being the 3 overwhelming favorites with a big gap between them and everyone else- if something like that were to occur, would you end up rejecting the lower vote-getter among Edge/psykkoman in favor of whoever places a relatively distant 4th place?

It seems to me that the second resolution passing could have undesired/undesirable consequences unless the first resolution also passes and mitigates its effect.

Although I was connected to Outlaws rather loosely, with most of my clan activities happening within CORP (which is somewhat natural as I became member of clan council during that span), I completely understand that audit panel is concerned with it. Also, I admit that I don't perceive Outlaws as "any other clan except of CORP", so to say.
On the other hand, Plat is right if he points out that considering Edge and me as being part of the same clan is misunderstanding.

I guess it doesn't really matter which players are considered for the same clans, because there is the option to vote for the candidate only option in the last question, if someone disagrees.
So it's ok for me that tekzen and I are considered Outlaws representatives, because a few months ago we were indeed in the same clan and tekzen still is in Platatoe Knights so there is still a little bit of connection, f.ex. in the in game chat. Although to be fair to him i don't know if he declined it the last time when he left Outlaws and joined Platatoe Knights and can't check it since it's deleted and a new game created.

No. Since I am in MH, any MH applicant would be disqualified to prevent ethics and leadership overlap. Therefore we didn't contact him, despite him receiving a recommendation.
