I should add, the meta-analysis pretty much analyzed every single study there is on the subject and found, "no studies concluding that gender transition causes overall harm."
As for the meta-analysis's methodology, could you elaborate on how it was "faulty" or explain specifically how they "didn't follow the scientific process"? Because I can't find it. And even if you do elaborate, I'll take your word with a very tiny grain of salt, because I would prefer an actual academic takedown of the meta-analysis than some random person on a forum.

When the dysphoria is gone due to having fully transitioned (which is incredibly rare), the trans person still has the medical condition, and it is still referred to as gender dysphoria. The dysphoria in the title refers to the dysphoria towards the birth sex.

People are trans simply by identifying as a gender other than the one they were assigned at birth. You can identify as another gender and not feel distress or anxiety about it, which is what gender dysphoria is. Although admittedly it's more common to experience gender dysphoria for trans people, it isn't always the case. Just being trans itself is not a mental illness.

Why do you support notions that often cause damage to trans people? You can be trans and be mentally healthy apart from having gender dysphoria, although trans people have higher rates of other mental afflictions such as autism. Having gender dysphoria doesn't make you insane or dangerous, although it often causes depression and eating disorders. It's actually surprising how little you gamer bros know about trans people lol, but you manage to have VERY strong opinions on us at the same time. I do so hope you're not talking about me here.

Definitely not talking about you, I was more referring to the people who unironically think just being trans is a mental illness and ignore all the scientific literature about trans topics.

@zoe way to take my comment, twist it, then respond to only 1 small part of it.... I feel like it was pretty obvious I was responding to the comment directly before the one I posted, neither of those are from Cornell, and the small sample size is not even the main critique. I view the convenience sampleing as the main problem in those 2 examples.
