MoD has always said that he plays with 2 accounts in ladders for more games. I get that and understand. The Clan Leauge has said no to doing that, whether for advantages towards a clan or for more games.


As to Wohoo, I am not sure. For now I am giving him the benafit of a doubt.

i was bored so i joined some clans with 4-5 alts, they put some in clan leauge.. now i have like 40 games going :(

Just because you suspect it was an alt doesn't mean you know who it is (could be someone not playing their main). If someone has proof that it was known prior to the league starting, please let us know. ~ChrisCMU


Lets say Hypothetically Wohoo is Dutch Desire. He is only playing 1 tournament for GG and 2 tournaments for Turtles.




Perhaps playing with an alt shouldn't be banned. Could we change the rule for next season that whether you use an alt or a main account you can play for any clan you belong to so long as you don't exceed the maximum 4 tournaments per player rule?????

I am discussing this with JSA/Apollo/Miyagi right now via mail. Miyagi has said he will not participate though as MOD is in his clan. I will continue to check here for ideas though.

I can confirm me, jeff, potato, TWM and mod himself (maybe a few more, i dunno) knew about the desi-mod thing, but chose to keep it a secret so he could play as a member of blitz, as well as masters. He originally made the desi account to get the "invite a player to warlight"-achievement. Then he wanted some more games with 'another community' (which was blitz), so he asked to join us. He told it was him, and since we knew him well, we couldn't say no. After a few weeks the Clan League came up, and we had some issues with inactive members and some shitcrap, and we knew he was hungry for more competitive games, so we discussed it, and figured why not. We placed him a few places in our lineups, and didn't really see it as a huge crime, since we are in the lowest group and was guaranteed promotion to group b next season anyways (at least 97% sure). Also Masters was in another group. If we was in same group as them, we would not allow him.

I would understand if you want to punish us. Of course I would prefer that we could work out a better solution.
And when it comes to Mod, don't punish him. Im the one who wrote him on our lineups.

Yes. It's hard to accept this without a doubt. And while I like how banana confesses they knew, I feel like currently the most rule-abusing clan is Masters.. with many cases of playing multiple accounts on ladders, tournaments or now in the clan league.. That's upsetting, as i did not expect that from you guys.

As for punishment - i vote for autoloss on all his games. Banana - i believe your clan can still pull it off anyways if you focus enough. It would be not fair if we'd simply accept the situation as-is.

You may say I'm hypocritical, as one of my clanmates did abuse the rules here some time ago, but I am against such practice and will stand strong with those who want to get rid of cheaters. Excuses MoD had less games to what he wanted is ridiculous. he could have joined a number of tournaments instead of a league with clear no-multiaccounting rule. There were other people willing to play for more than one clan including me, but we respected the rules.

He'd be playing it well if this was the case. (Swirve would be a lot higher up on the group C rankings)

@Fridge - I do think this case is more disturbing than Gnuff because we had all that talk about it last season. Everyone knew it was definitely wrong to play two accounts, especially MOD who was very active in the recent thread regarding the cheating (where we talked about clan league as well). What also adds to it is that a clan mate oversaw this league. I don't know if Miyagi knew about Desi or not prior, but I do know that he has had access to TWM account at times (probably to babysit), so if TWM knew...my guess is Miyagi knew as well.

I think we have to count his games as auto loss for MOD/Desi as well. The message has to be sent somehow.

I agree. The practice has to be cut short.

I am almost positive that Miyagi knew nothing about this. Like banana said we had issues with a loss of clan members expected to play in the league but we could have had others step up. We fully expect all of the points from Desi to be taken away.

My gutt says no (Miyagi did not know), but I have had him reply to mail I sent to TWM, so I am not positive that he didn't know either.

LoL TWM and TheWarlightMaster is not a big deal bro, every knows who owns the accounts its not like it is a secret alt and tell me truthfully that you have never joined multiple accounts in tournaments before because i will call bull on that...
