All, Announcing my second Free Membership Tournament Series

As an update to Free Membership Series I, we are starting the second round shortly.

Free Membership Series II Format:
First Round: 4v4 6 rounds. Single Elimination.
Teams that Win first 2 games (Top 16 teams, 64 players) Advance to Round 2.

Round 2:
2v2, 5 rounds, Double Elimination.
Top 8 teams, 16 Players Advance to Round 3.

Round 3:
1v1 Round Robin of 16 players.

Prize:
Membership, to the winner, or as a gift (winner's choice) if the winner is already a member.

Action Requested:
Please post a link to your favorite 4v4 Template for consideration of Round 1.

Europe AD 1600 seems to be a popular map for 4v4. I personally don't like it but a lot of people do. Europe can work for 4v4 as well but it gets kind of crowded. Ask Sze for a good 4v4 map and settings. I'm sure he can find you a good one.

I'd like to join this one again. The last one the 2v2 was flawed due to the map error with Salt Lake City but I'm sure this one will work better. If Sze doesn't give you a good setting for 4v4, I'll be glad to search for some good tournaments that I have been in with 4v4 and you can use those settings if nothing else.

I will suggest http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=3283008 and http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=3204167 just for fun. Granted, both would likely need to be adjusted and modified a bit to suit the tournament. (Not counting that one of them is Bloomridge.)

I would suggest Rise of Rome map for the 4vs4 rounds, it's well balanced for 4vs4.

i hate europe AD 1600. i have never played in rise of rome, but i guess it can be good for 4v4.

It's official name is Strategic 4v4, but I like to call it Quest for Excalibur. It is played on the Europe AD 1600 map, a great map for 4v4s.
BTW, I really think Hong Kong is a boring map, don't really like it. As for Rise of Rome, I absolutely HATE that map. Please don't choose that one; the drawing is so awful.
