HScandy I can finish without waiting to upgrade Hospitals or upgrading once while HRome takes 3 upgrades and the tech tree needs some crafting.
I'll start HOldTown and see what's happens. Before phase4 it was slow to finish

You must be doing something wrong then, I can do L1 hospital clears of HRome about 10-15% ICA ahead of of L1 hospital clears for HScandi. Most of the tech tree (including the +50% cache tech) gets skipped for both levels at this point, HRome takes 15-20 minutes and HScandi takes 20-30 minutes.

mmmm I tried HRome with L1 hospitals and ended with part of map unconquered and no mercs.

as I seem to not understand what you are saying here.

When I reach HScand, I have max AM and my leg acacheb. And with that setup, I push hosps to level 3 and do the cache tech as otherwise the armies are just not enough. Are you phase 4 when clearing HScand with hosps lvl 1?

Same for HRise. With 150% AM and leg acacheb, I have to push hosps to lvl 3 AND do a TS on the 66B territory, otherwise I run into drafting. (But I skip the cache tech here, too).

Yes, for L1 hospital clears I'm talking about coming back to the "good" hardened levels after at least one ascend and generally deep into P4 advancements. Assuming leg A$B, 50% BH and 150% AM, L1 hospitals HRome is doable at around 65-70% ICA (draft free), whereas L1 hospitals HScandi takes around 80% ICA (draft free).

For a first pass on HRome for me, it's clearable draft free with L3 hospitals (and no TS) starting at ~107.5% AM. Note that this early on I don't skip the cache tech, there are a handful of thorium caches on the map that make smelting 3x lanthanum trivial during the 4h bake time for hospitals. I never bother with the last cheaper merc tech on HRome because it has gobs of money.

For a similar first pass on HScandi (L3 hospitals, take cache tech), I need ~127.5% AM for a draft free clear. Notably, crafting 10x rivets takes longer than smelting the 3x lanthanum unless I've managed to find a SC early on enough to get it up to rare already.

Ah ok, I was wondering. That makes sense...

At the moment, I barely have unlocked phase 3 (i.e., SL 6) when I go to HEX. And then I finish the super on HEX, without ever ascending or going back. The total time where I have phase 4 advancements is usually less than a very few hours before resetting everything to zero ;)

next time: another artifact

Really noticing the slow down now. Got to reconquest at least, now back to 4+days per level. Miss leg triple (at least I have the epic again)

I am pretty close to being able to super again, pushing it like a "mad lad" but damn it's so exhausting and like last time I question why the hell do I bother. Again seriously thinking of going full achievement whoring more and forgetting about any more supering.

Gotta love those phase 4 things, massive clam requests, 100 percent Army Cache better hospitals etc.
Pretty much can ignore the tech tree on all levels except for Trisk and probably the last 3 hardened [plus super levels which seem near impossible to get anyway.] and can pretty much ignore hospitals or at most do one level. Life is good.
