I hope this doesn't drive IP banning as my roommates all play (often we play together 2v2 or 3v3) and several of my work buddies all play during our lunch breaks. I even got my father into warlight over the holiday and we played together at his house.

So basically I'm boned if IP banning comes into play.

10% rake is A LOT. Poker sites usually take much less.
And the amount of coins to be played for has to be adjustable. Its not really worth to play half an hour for 10 cents.

it say 0,80$ cent. so considering the rake of 10% is 0,50€ more or less if you win ;)

If I'm not completely mistaken 10% for the bank means that you need 55.55% wins to not lose money. In poker this shouldn't be possible.

that depends who ends up playing in the end. Have the 10 best player play and I will personally give the one with 75% winratio another 100 euro out of my pocket.

agree with you, but is unlikely you will play only top. at the begginning, with the free coins, the average skill of opponnet will be low.

Fizzer said "there will be some limited quantity of free coins" though he didn't clarify if it was for everyone or just a lucky few (I hope it's for everyone). I hope MD games will be offered as well, as the risk of getting boot on RT games, if the connect lags for whatever reason, is always a bit of a turnoff.

All things considered this is finally a way for Fizzer to balance his accounts on WarLight, maybe. Last I heard he claimed he's paying about 1000 USD a month for the servers, which translates into 6,250 games a month (assuming he doesn't have to pay any fees). He just might be able to finally start paying off the deficit this game has piled on him over the past several years.

Honestly, I'm ashamed of you Fizzer, this is a community, a family. We all support you in making money form the game, however, you are slowly turning this from a community and game, into your personal cash cow. I'm not saying you don't deserve to make money, im saying that where is this gong to stop, ads, were okay with, membership, I bought one, yearly membership, hell yeah great idea. But this is becoming a casino of pay to play. And frankly, this is starting to cross a line with me, I don't know how others feel, but that's how I feel and im almost to the point of quitting this game over this. Its frankly not even a game at this point just your little money pot.

This is good for people like me who would be broke in five minutes based on how bad I am at WL -.-'

At least this won't be something that all games will have to employ.
