Julius Caesar, don't you know that the USA trained Al-Qaeda and gave them money to fight? And that Saudi Arabia sponsors a lot of terrorism? They help Islamic State in war against Iraq and Syria. In fact, when dictators were ruling Iraq, Syria, Libya etc., those countries were safe. The governments had power to destroy terrorist groups before they were grown.

And this is a topic about shootings, so I'll explain my point of view:
I think that capital punishment for those "journalists" was wrong idea. They should be flogged (it's not possible in France at this moment) or put in prison. But. In some places in France, the UK, Germany sharia law is accepted. Even German courts sentence criminals to different punishments if they were acting as sharia law says (for example - for "honor killing" muslims go to prison for less years). It's accepted also in Paris. So this murder was bad but it was still legal.

All right, now that he's taken care of, let's finally talk about Russia and the EUs influence in the Middle East.

You also started talking about american political education and how it is quite bad. The truth is that most Americans are much more in to politics than any country. And most people say the American education system is bad, but it is actually very good. Look at the top two countries in education: Finland and South Korea. Now, we all know how fucked up South Koreans is, so most people say that we should adopt the Finnish education system, but that won't work, and here's why: The Finnish system is deeply rooted in its culture, and Finnish cultur is one of the most unique in the world by far. If it is brought to the US, it would give the impression that there is some kind of social net to fall into, when there really isn't. That would lead to less jobs and lots of alcoholics and drug users.

Great argumentation. Now I'll employ a tactic you used: Can't you admit that you've lost the argument?

Anyhow, to your second comment:

Russia has a couple bases in the Middle East, but is trying to stay uninvolved, save for supplying
weapons to the government forces. If it did try to get involved, woe.

Don't mix up EU with NATO. EU doesn't really want anything in the Middle East. NATO is the one that wants things in the Middle East. Anyhow, the European side of NATO, France and UK are just willing to go wherever the US goes and rarely do the other countries do anything.

Also, that's not what I was arguing, but I'll defend Genghis's view. Americans get plenty of political education, along with the relevant propaganda; ie US always is noble and tries to help the poor countries. You and Julius are a product of this. The US school system is decent when it comes to other matters.

And what's wrong with adopting South Korean school system? It's hardcore, no nonsense. But that wouldn't solve the problem, adopting a different kind of education system.

The US trained the Mujaheddin, not Al-Queda, yes it was made up of the same people, including Osama. But, the US had less intelligence networking in the Mid east at that time and the Mujaheddin were fighting back against the Russian Army, so it was made out to seem like the right thing to do. I don't believe we should have, but now we are trying to deal with our own mistake.
Also the middle eastern countries may have been "stable" under dictatorships, but the people were oppressed, Iraqis were getting slaughtered by their own government. Syrians faced the same thing from the Government in Damascus. Libya was never safe, it was always on the verge of revolution so I don't know your facts there.

Really? you think they should have been flogged for exercising their rights guaranteed to them in the French constitution? I see that you are merely no better than most of the mold able minds being slowly turned to the Sharia way of thinking. The European Governments should never have allowed sharia law to be established for the Muslims, it sets a precedent. They live in France, Germany, The UK, etc. They need to follow those countries rules, not their own, if they do not like it they are welcome to return to their home country, or their parents home country.
