I don't know, maybe you didn't go to school but I, at biology classes in PRIMARY school had videos and descriptions in books how we developed from monkeys, that there were few phases with description regarding additional brain capacity and at each stage WE COULD DO MORE. It was all described and shown skills compared with brain size. Only monkey would deny this fact, pretending it is not stupid. Meh.

Also, brain size doesn't matter? Yes you are right! Bigger animals have bigger brains because they are so BIG, they need bigger brains because they have huge bodies which require a lot of grey matter. Bigger project = bigger computer. This doesn't mean this size makes them think better.

I think the racism will stop naturally. Intermarriages are popular and when millions of black mix with millions of white, the problem will end naturally.

Racial differences do exist, wake up!

First of all- I am white and I despise racism of any kind. I have very strong opinions on Eric Garner, Ferguson, Baltimore and related cases.

berdan131- repeatedly stating the fact that black people are, no matter how scientifically, not as intelligent as white people, will just make you sound more racist. No need to state those facts.

I do not believe that the OP is a troll. I believe that at least some of their concerns are valid. But they are calling for the death of Warlight. This is clearly far too extreme of a solution in a situation where there only seems to be a small racist group affecting a small black group. My thoughts below:

1. You never needed to reveal your race in the first place. There are many Warlight players out there who don't give a shit about other peoples' race. On the internet, it is easy to remain largely anonymous, and this is one of those cases in which you should have taken advantage of this, if racism was a concern for you.
2. As many others have stated, blacklisting/reporting offensive behavior is a great way to avoid anyone who might be racist. If you don't do this, nor provide instances in which you've encountered this behavior, your argument becomes invalid and people are likely to believe you're trolling.
3. When you, specifically, converse with people on Warlight, you tend to be quite hostile and use a lot of offensive language. With the Warlight community being this small, your reputation among it will become poor and it will respond to you with the same kind of language.
4. For the sole fact that I am not directly siding with the OP, and with the current trend, I will be cussed at and called a white supremacist. If so, then you are blind and there's no point in having this conversation anymore.

Just now I read the posts of Kentucky, and now I must say I understand the problem. I was direspectful for him, because I thought he was just throwing stupid things and say ridiculous words at problems which are not trivial and this irritaded me.

So, after reading this my conclusions:

The western society is "based on anti-black principles". This is not true. Black people, or asian, or white are treated the same by law. The rules do not discriminate people of African origin. For hurting Afro-American you get the same punishment as for hurting white.

If there is racism among American society, it is because society is racist. But THE RULES are not racist. The PRINCIPLES are not. But I say, there should be no punishment for racist people. As long as they don't hurt black people, it is fine to be racist. Why? You have a freedom of word, a freedom of opinion and you can think what you wish. If someone insults black people, it's only the problem of people who insult, he has a problem with himself.

"Racial inequality". It's a stupid idea. Kentucky, you think that black earn too little? Maybe racial inequality in income? If they earn less, it is because they aren't able to earn more, no one forbids them but it is only their responsibility for their income and these people shouldn't blame anyone.

This is my opinion: In power should be people who are smart, who can manage the society well. Successful working class should be cheap, not necessary smart. History has shown that when working, poor class overtook by revolution the power, it only leads to chaos and economic collapse.
Example: Soviet Union, intellectuals killed, workers in power, people get even poorer.
Example 2: RPA, black working class finally gets into power and detrones white governors. Unemployment skyrockets. Poverty increases.

Don't call for revolution, if black people are excluded from politics, maybe they are not trusted enought to take governance over a country. And for a good reason: see obama, the worst president in US history.

Again, for Captain Phrenology (although Angry Panda, your post is funny. I have to acknowledge that. I'm glad we're in the same clan.):

There's a reason people get degrees in biology. It's because there's a large knowledge base involved and a certain set of analytic skills needed- something that goes beyond analyzing basic diagrams of evolution.

Moreover, your understanding of evolution is clearly flawed- humans didn't "evolve from" apes (not monkeys). Evolution is a process by which populations diverge/split and become genetically incompatible due to reproductive isolation- we share a common ancestor with apes, but aren't directly descended from modern ape populations. Evolution, moreover, is the process by which a population adapts to specific circumstances- it's not a scenario of simply getting "better."

But as for a direct refutation of that prong, consider the evolution of the dog from the grey wolf (which you might have noticed had you read that Smithsonian article). Modern dogs are far more socially capable than the grey wolf, by all metrics they are "smarter", but their brains are significantly smaller. In fact, it's likely that synapse density is a better predictor of intelligence than brain or skull size/shape. Moreover, as for your elephants being bigger argument:

1. It's already been addressed. Skull size in relation to body size is still not a good predictor of intelligence. Read my first post on the subject.

2. Modern humans are also much bigger than H. habilis. That means your diagram is bullshit by your own argument.

On your side you've got one diagram; on mine I've got decades upon decades of research demonstrating how the relationship between skull size is far more complex than what your primary school diagram demonstrates.

Finally, for the other prong of your argument- that Africans have smaller skull size than other races:

1. All studies on this topic have been cast into doubt for their methodology. They can't even agree on results.

2. These studies also fail to control for a host of factors, primarily epigenetic factors like environmental ones.

It's very tough to reason about racial genetics based on just analyzing output in this area- for example, if you'd studied Dutch bones 200 years ago, you would've concluded that the Dutch are naturally very, very short (the shortest people in Europe!). However, an analysis of the Dutch today would reveal that they are naturally very, very tall. This is because environmental factors- like availability of economic resources (which is clearly an issue for most global black populations)- have a huge impact on the expression of genes.

I understand that you like to be a freethinker, and I think that's great. However, one of the things that's most important to understand is how little one understands- it's very easy to overestimate how well you understand a field (like evolutionary biology) when you understand so very little of it- so easy, in fact, that there's a documented name for the effect- the Duning-Kruger Effect. I'd encourage you to read a bit more on evolution, and especially understand why phrenology is a junk science. I understand that you've spent a significant amount of time thinking about it/looking at pretty pictures on the topic, but there's been a substantial amount of research dedicated to this. Moreover, even just pretending that science is all about thinking- you haven't been able to dedicate your entire life to this research, but other people have- so I'd recommend you look at their results as well before simply ignoring them and repeating your own claims. Good luck.

The black population's poverty rate has always been much higher than the white poverty rate- and you're saying that blacks are unable to get good income because of...what? Sure, african americans generally tend to be slightly less intelligent than whites- and that's because during slavery, blacks were bred to be strong, not smart. But we can fix this by funding black-dominant schools, right? After all, those schools are given the least amount of resources. But racism won't allow that. Therefore, impoverished blacks have america to blame, not themselves. They can't help it.

Either you are very racist or you blindly follow the republican party. Obama is not a terrible president, there have been far worse presidents than him, but that is another topic for another time
