So its ILLUMINATI as the sole winner or a three way tie. Do I put all three players and clans into the google sheets if it a tie? There isn't room...

Is there a precedent set for this?

There was precedent as 3 way unbreakable tie, but it was at another spreadsheet

3 way tie, I've seen it under tournament winners.

i noticed there is some teams in this clan league who are not in the same clan but they play in the same team so i suggest that those teams should not be allowed to participate and their games should canceled as they represent two different clan in the same team ? ? and one last question which clan get the poinst if the this mixed team win thats just not right ??

@RBK, when the tournaments were created by ChrisCMU and myself all teams for the clans had the same players. It has been 2 months since this season of Clan League started and players move around clans, its a natural part of the game. As long as players don't start botching games intentionally there is nothing wrong with a player playing for a different clan. I believe the precedent used by Clan League management has been consistent and fair to players switching clans that they continue playing their game to the best of their abilities.

Cancelling the games would be a drastic reaction. As well it would punish Hawks, Lu Fredd and M'Hunters primarily as the other clans haven't seen any players move in their line-ups. Is that your intention to hurt your own clan?

The clan which the player(s) originally represented get the points.

This area can become tricky for clans as a clan doesn't want to accept a player that then goes and throws their games for their previous clan. Discretion on the part of the player wanting to change clans or the clan itself to wait until after Clan League finishes, the conflicting games end may be an adequate solution but it should not be enforced.

yeah this question was answered in the previous thread RBK posted. Even though I changed clans I still played the games in the league to the best of abilities.

Week 7 Summary:



It looks like last week was the anomaly. ILLUMINATI and General Chous are back to their positions. Lu Fredd is back is a solid lead (we will get to that later), M'Hunters is back in second. Hawks and Dutch Forever is way, way back are both are guaranteed the last two spots now and will end up in Group E next season. That is all I'll say about Hawks and Dutch Forever.

Determining the group winner will come down to one simple factor: team games.

Lu Fredd (3-1) continue to plod along smoothly. So while they have a strong leader against M'Hunters (18 point lead) and ILLUMINATI (24 points), their lead isn't secured yet. It is easier to lead when you have completed more games like Lu Fredd has. Lu Fredd has only 6 games left and is nearing their ceiling.

ILLUMINATI (0-3) had a bad week but is hardly disastrous; it was only three games. Their max points have come down from a significant high to a slight lead over the rest of the clans. M'Hunters (3-1) has shown their consistency this week.

Early in this thread I said that the team games were more important than the 1v1 games. It has ended up I was correct for the wrong reasons. I said it was because there was more points in team games (which is wrong). The actual reason for the team games being so important is because with CORP being the exception, ILLUMINATI, M'Hunters and Lu Fredd have split the 1v1 games almost equally. Since they are all more or less equal, they become largely irrelevant to determining the winner. And since you get more points for a win in team games then 1v1 games, a strong performance in team games will push a clan closer to the promotion spot.

With the win rates of M'Hunters, ILLUMINATI and Lu Fredd converging once again it looks like we are looking at a clan likely winning this division with 10 points or less. The difference between 1st and 3rd will also likely be 15 points or less. So unless something happens over the next two weeks to change the dynamic of the race again, the winner wont be know until the very end.

Not only are top 3 clans very close, but CORP with 19 points this week and a win% above 60 is also competing. Although they do have less current points, their max points is the same as that of Le Fredd. It is unlikely to see them win the rest of their games, but not impossible.

As as been said for a loong time D1 is very close, yet the closeness is amazing me yet again. It may perhaps even be decided by the last game.

That may look like ILLUMINATI▲ did somewhat better then the other clans, but it doesn't show how the clans placed below 1st in each tournament. It was a very close race, so much so I had to use out some tie breakers!

A bit of pile-up there, eh? As with the rest of this division the win rates here are insane. The highest is only 66%? CORP is strongest in 1v1, with the team games clearly dragging down their win rate. For Dutch Forever and Hawks 1v1 is the bright spot with nearly all points they have coming from 1v1 games. The opposite is true for M'Hunters, Lu Fredd and ILLUMINATI▲ with poorer performances in 1v1 then the team games.

Looking to next season, it will be interesting to see how each of these clans do in 1v1 because I get the sense all the clans will do better in their divisions next season. General Chou's, Dutch Forever, and Hawks should do well in Group E, same with the clans that don't get promoted this season.

Three clans had a 58.33% win rate in 1v1. And General Chous only needed one win, instead of a loss, to hit 50% !

This D1 is the most competitive Clan League group I have seen.
