No, you're missing the issue. Origin (not really race btw, but close), is the main way to choose which people can go to america and live there or not.

And it's easy to explain by my own situation. I'm a brazilian, if I wanted to go to the us and work, it would be really hard and bureaucratic to do it, specially if you are poor. But it doesn't matter to me, because 1, I'm not poor, 2, I'm also french, so I could go to the US anyway.

Doesn't it seem weird to you that it's easy to emigrate to the US if I'm european, but almost impossible if I'm a brazilian? But yea, let's keep saying there's no prejudice envolved on it ^^.

The "proper" channels of immigration are really a complete mess impossible to pursue for a mexican, if it was as easy as you say no one would enter the us as an illegal don't you think?

Trump has a lot of support among independents and democrats too, and they are probably supporting him for different reasons than GOP hardliners.

Trump has more support among Muslims than the rest of the GOP field combined. Similar with hispanics. You cannot claim with a straight face that they support him because they want to see all Muslims banned, can you?

You just looked at the wrong place. A present example of authoritarian progressivism is the social justice movement. Another is Black Lives Matter. Their rhetoric might differ from the KKK, but their goal is the same: supremacy based on skin color, gender etc.

Both Hillary and Bernie pander to these authoritarians. It's funny how Trump's disavowal of David Duke was allegedly not emphatetic enough, but nobody bats an eye when Democrats openly support authoritarian supremacy movements.

You might be able to make an argument that the current immigration systems makes it easier for the wealthier to get in, but race? No.

I never said it was easy, but immigration checks and controls exist for a reason. If it was easy to get in, than terrorists and drug cartels would be able to penetrate the border in even greater amounts than they do already.

It's not an easy process, but it's very possible to do. If people can't bother themselves to wait in line and follow the law like thousands of immigrants before them successfully did, than they don't belong here.

On that note, tell me, if the current system is racist against Hispanics, how have so many Hispanics already immigrated to the U.S legally? I think the vast number of that demographic is living proof that legally entering the U.S is quite possible and those coming illegally don't have as much excuse as people try to make up for them.

No, it isn't odd. Because Europe is way richer. And the way the immigration system is designed, rich people get in easier. That is how it should be. America isn't the world's refugee dump; if someone is coming in, I want them to add something to the nation. I think you are insinuating we discriminate by country of origin. We do not; Brazil is just for the most part poor, badly documented, and often criminal compared to Europe. So of course it's easier for a European to get in.
