But that's not what you did in the past JSA, the only case that's slightly similar would be GG, but in the case of BIA/XCD CPU NO LONGER EXISTED. 101st really exists. If they choose they don't want to be promoted to group A then whatever, but Lynx ISN'T 101st so why should you get their spot. If Lynx IS 101st, an extension of 101st, we have no problems but 101st may not compete in the same season then.

When the people changed from 101st to Lynx, they essentially brought all of the life of 101st with them. Lynx is the old 101st. The new 101st is practically a dead clan unless someone does something about it, and in that case it would be completely different from Lynx.

You want to think about it a different way? Apollo pretty much just kicked out most of 101st in a roundabout way.

Also most of you are saying it'd be fine if Apollo named "Lynx" 101st and then renamed the remnants "102nd" or something

Every player that brought 101st from B to A is in Lynx. So we're being shunted and told to start from the bottom, despite the fact that we earned our way up? This isn't comparable to GG. Also Lynx is 101st, whether you agree or not Lolowut, nobody made you the deliverer of truth.

The people supporting Lynx starting from the bottom are clans that are licking wounds from past decisions and have something to gain from this which makes you biased. By Pushover's logic is means you have no say, so go crawl back into your holes.

Edit: Aimed at Lolowut.

Riya, you still got it :P

If lolowut want, I can buy another clan called "101 st", then transfer the ppl from "101st" to "101 st".

In that case, may I just donate $15 to Fizzer to save the troubles?

btw, ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ RIOT ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ, riot no matter what happens

I'm fine either way, but Hauptmann don't you think you might be a bit more biased than Lolowut? :p

While i would prefer to see better competition in all leagues, we have set the precedent that we don't make skill judgements. Leagues are earned, not given.

If the elite players of 101st want to stay in A, they should stay as 101st and kick out the people they don't want. They are choosing to split off.

It would be easy for me to play favorites and back and old friend in JSA, but i think that would be unfair to clans that had to fight their way up before and will in the future.

I feel their pain, but i am not sure we should set that new precedent.

chris, may I follow Lolowut's concept and then just donate $15 to Fizzer to save all the member transfer troubles?

Btw, this does not relate to P and WG. WG started when their were no divisions. So there is no parallel there. I would have to look at the old threads, but i wanted GG in A from the start, as it would have been better competition.

Unrealty, first thing i need to make a sound judgement is a list of who is in what clan. I would also like a list of who has played in clan league for 101st in each season.

thanks, I think JSA/Apollo will give you a list. I believe this is a win-win-win situation, where Fizzer earns a donation, the host can make use of the dead clan concept to allow Lynx to stay in group A, while we save the idoitic member transfer

Arun, false. Before the season was over he was in Lynx, actually before it started I think. Also, even if he was 101st, that's one of almost a dozen that participated, so your argument is weakly based. And, Lynx is still part of the 101st, it's just the elite section. A clan within a clan if you will.

Those last two sentences... If they are true, Lynx can go to division A, but the 101st cannot compete.

If the clans really are separate, then Lynx must start from the bottom. What we have here is A MINORITY of a clan splitting off to their own clan. They are a new clan. They must start from the bottom. The precedent must not be set to allow this because frankly, it is ridiculous.

Ok the 101st and Lynx join together as Lynx, which Means Lynx goes to group A. How does that sound? 101st will then be new next season.

technically, we are still the same clan but we just have 2 clan pages ;)

Edit: i believe the purpose lynx was formed and created another clan page is just to help other players realize the skill of some 101st and lynx players (although need more improvements still xD). Also, it is just making the players who stay in 101st to know that they still need more improvements than lynx players :D

i would rather pay another $15 to make our case follow the cpu->xcd/bia case, where one clan stay at top group of the league, and another group still has a chance to join.

Here is my take....

As you can see from past seasons, the lynx people would not be in A without the 101st people (last season they would have started in C and they would now be in B, just like 20. On the other hand, 101st would not be in A without Lynx either. They would not have won B without them IMO.

So, my idea is a compromise and both play in B this year. Not sure how that effects the number in each league. You could relegate one less team from A or promote one extra from B

Chris, can we just take the CPU approach?

btw your suggestion is going to put the wrong players at wrong groups.

101st players may not suit for group B. While lynx has won group B...

The problem is that with CPU, nobody that was still in CPU had played in the clan league. They were either in BIA, XCD or WG. So current CPU members had no stake in getting the clan where they were in clan leagues. And CPU did not even compete in the clan league this season.

In this case people still in 101st did all the work up until last season, when Lynx people did all the work. So unless 101st comes out and officially gives up their seat at the table (in A division, and starts over at the bottom), then I don't see how Lynx can say they deserve it. Both groups had a hand in getting the clan to A.

So what I am saying is IF 101st agrees to start at the bottom, then I personally have no problem with Lynx being in A. We could go through the hassle of making things legit by changing clan names back and forth but that is a waste of time. But, since 101st still competes in the league, I don't see how you can force their spot away, even if they would get trashed in A and Lynx would have no competition in D. That argument was made for GG/20 but we did not "slot" clans then, so I don't think we can now either. Who is the official leader of 101st now?

Whichever way you will make it other than Lynx starting form the bottom, you will create a precedence for people to game the system. I know it's discouraging, i know it's harsh, but you guys were a PART of clan called 101st, and in the league, you REAPRESENTED that clan, you all credit goes to 101st. not the people who played it.

Imagine Me, gnuff, Red, Sze, piggy, falker, surehand and let's say longhouse leaving WM and creating a new clan.. even if we would be called "WM strike force" before, we would still have to face the fact that we should start from the bottom of the league since the clan we created is new.

As for the question - "assuming 101st and Lynx is still one clan, what if we play this league being called Lynx instead of 101st.. blablabla" It's clearly gaming the system, and i will still bash it.

The only exception from the rule "new clans start from the bottom" i can think of, is actually a comple FUSION of two clans that were already participating, but still i am strongly convinced they should start from the lowest of groups they were competing in.
