ps haupt, i know about the ranks and shit. jsa was #1 and i said gratz twice in two different threads. and i have not "beaten a couple of lynx guys before". in fact i have won 7/9 1v1 games against your guy dom365, and 4/7 against your guy bigchps (not telling this to brag!). And i think we all agree im not the best player out here, soo yeah..

All I really know right now is that this is what Lynx and one member of 101st wants. Sirius is especially getting shafted in this deal. He specifically joined 101st because he wanted to learn from top players... and now they all just left!

In the end it's up to the clan league admins, minus Apollo, as obviously it's not possible for him to be unbiased. If it comes to a vote, it will be up to the clans other than Lynx/101st.

Not here to cause issues but if Lynx is still a part of 101st, doesn't that mean 101st has two teams in the league. Is that allowed, or is there not even a rule for that? I get points from both sides but I don't think a clan should have two teams, and if they're a new clan then go to the bottom. I like a lot of Lynx players but this is just what I think.

Let me clarify something. Lynx brought us to Group A, Lynx as earned the right to continue the legacy, your vote be damned, Pushover.

I think, that since people can change clans, it's obviously the name that is relevant.

Now, here is the things: switch the clans, I mean all members.
All lynx go to 101st, all 101st to lynx, and everyone is happy!
Perfectly by the rules, people that wanted to play in group A play in group A, people that wanted to start at the bottom start at the bottom.

And its bullshit to say that they would have an easy way from d to a. I have beaten 6 out of 9 of the lynx'es. Played greentea only once and lost, played jsa only once and lost (long time ago), and have never played apollo (but i am ranked better in the ladder than him). And i have many players on my level and better than me in blitz. + there are many clans that could match our lvl of skill, and some even better skilled, between d and a, so its not even sure lynx will reach a in 3-4 seasons from now if they start on the bottom (though i know they would have a fair chance).

Who won season 4 group B, and your saying we can't cruise past D, C, Even B maybe. You may have good results against us, but compare yourself to they're ranks in the ladder. The ladder isn't the top thing on my mind at the moment, <1 min on a turn. Isn't gonna rank me high. This is just practise. Comparing my history I think I've had better.

101st should not be punished because a bunch of 101st members decided to split off.

The founder and most contributors to the success of the 101st are splitting. Also Sirius is joining Lynx. We've given other 101sters time and time again to have an opportunity to improve. Not many in the 101st itself contribute or bother to even read notices or the forum. Is it right to have the most dedicated 101sters start from the bottom?even though Lynx won Group B.

support: people that play is more important
against: rules are rules

under new situations, laws and rules could change based on valid reasons.

i agree and accept rules are rules, apart from this, let's hear the other part where "people that play is more important" is a valid enough reason or not

Oh yes. Well obviously it's more than a name. We have split, correct. We are separate clans, correct. We have a very close relationship, yes. We even have alts in the 101st to keep it alive, we still care about, a lot. So we are different clans but very close. If you put us in group D, fair enough, but isn't this decresing competition.

If you let 101st stay in Group A they'll be butchered, it wasn't a split so much as a well planned decision to take the most active and dedicated players.

They're the ones that brought the 101st to Group A, I reiterate for the 3rd time :P

Lynx is for right now, exclusively 101st players, most all of whom partook in the Season 4 competition.

If 101st doesnt play then I dont see any issue with Lynx in Group A as the 101st rep. You should just say that you two are part of the same clan then, even if youre not.

I think you missed my post, my solution is better.

The main question here seems to be, what decides which clan gets the spot in group A? (1) The clan containing the most players that participated for 101st in season 4, or (2) the clan containing the most players from 101st after the 101st/Lynx split? If we go according to (1) then Lynx gets the group A spot. If we go according to (2) then 101st gets the group A spot.

Going back to what JSA decided between seasons 3 and 4:

XCD is not CPU at all. I believe 3 players from CPU are in XCD. Same as WG.

BIA will represent CPU. I believe it is split up about half and half but BIA has all of the better players previously in CPU. If we go into technical rules, we could possibly let CPU compete in A League since the CPU name was used. However, I consider BIA equaling CPU since all of BIA's members are of CPU and they are equal to the rest of the CPU clan. The current CPU clan did no work to stay in Group A, that fell mostly onto BIA's shoulders. Plus more competition in A League is better than less competition. So my verdict is obvious, BIA will be in Group A in place of CPU.

JSA is a bit ambiguous here unfortunately. On the one hand he cites the fact that most old CPU members became BIA. Which would support (1) above. So if the decision is made based on JSA's rationale at the time BIA took the CPU spot, then Lynx should take the 101st spot.
