This mod adds 4 custom cards to the game: Tornado Card, Quicksand Card, Earthquake Card and the Forest Fire Card.

Tornado Card

This card causes a tornado to develop on a territory, causing damage to it for a duration of turns. The duration of the tornado is designed to be at least 1 or -1. -1 is special value that means the tornado lasts until the end of the game. The strength of the tornado reduces the amount of armies on the territory.

Playing this card happens during the same turn phase as Gift Cards. Tornadoes are applied at the end of each turn.

Quicksand Card

This card transforms a territory into quicksand for a duration of turns. This prevents special units from moving off the territory, take increased damage from attackers and do reduced damage to attackers.

Game creators can customize:

  • If armies (attack/transfer orders) entering the territory is blocked (defaults to false)
  • If airlifts onto the territory are blocked (defaults to false)
  • If airlifts from the territory are blocked (defaults to true)
  • If armies (attack/transfer orders) exiting the territory are blocked (defaults to true)
  • The defender damage modifier (defaults to 1.5, min 0.1, max 2)
  • The attack damage modifier (defaults to 0.5, min 0.1 max 2)
